A sister organization to Attack Watch is born: The Truth Team:

The Truth Team is a network of supporters of President Obama who are committed to responding to unfounded attacks and defending the President’s record. When you’re faced with someone who misrepresents the truth, you can find all the facts you need right here—along with ways to share the message with whoever needs to hear it.

Obama having a “truth team” is like Michael Moore starting a group called “Obesity Busters.”

They should consolidate Attack Watch and the Truth Team into one organization called “Attack Truth.”

I’m thankful though that Obama’s people are really good at one thing: Coming up with ideas that are ripe for mockery. This is such low hanging fruit it must be part of one of FLOTUS’s healthy eating campaigns.

    Response from the truth team: The President is correct in saying you will be able to keep your health care coverage. If you are unable to keep it due to the Catholic church cancelling your coverage over the contraceptive issue it will not be the Presidents fault. Instead it will be the fault of Catholic leadership for not changing their doctrine.

    Since it's a given a Conservatives whole framework of knowledge is seriously off kilter, they're just getting us out of 'jam' we wouldn't be in to begin with. Funny thing is, this isn't even about "Conservatives against Libs!" any more.

    All but the most ardent commies now know this is about Sanity vs. Chaos.

    For a liberal to mention the word “truth” will invoke the same response from a conservative as if a conservative were to use the term “entitlements” to a liberal – a well-founded skepticism of many, many decades and a retreat into the immediate securing of the lockbox of each one’s reality.

    To Zero real “truth” is not a goal to attain or even to work toward so much as a buzzword to throw his opponents into a frenzy of searching and to keep his opposition off guard.

    The liberal constituency doesn’t care about truth as long as the social benefactor continues pushing food into one hand and dollars into the other hand. The liberal constituency lives by their bellies, their smokes, their entertainment, their drugs, and the worship of their god Moloch. Therefore they are not expecting to hear truth and when they do it is of no consequence to them because it is not a yardstick by which they measure anything in their reality.

    To a liberal “truth” is anything that is of benefit his cause, the end justifies the means, the Russian Revolution. Has anyone actually ever won over a liberal with facts, figures and quotes? It seems to me that an interesting social study would be to find out what percentage of the prison population of America might claim to be politically liberal or conservative.
