I wonder if Bill and Hill will get any residuals for being the inspirations for this new show:

At the epicenter of the drama is the divorced former First Lady, who’s the current Secretary of State, having recently lost the presidential nomination.

Elaine Barrish – that’s the name of Weaver’s character – has got a philandering ex-husband; she’s also got twin sons, and The Good One is her chief of staff.

Barrish struggles to keep her family together while simultaneously dealing with the crises of the State Department. USA had ordered six episodes of the series, for which it has just cast the actress best known for “Aliens,” and “Avatar,” and “Working Girl,” and “The Year of Living Dangerously.”

The series premiere covers straw that broke the camel’s back of the “fictional” couple’s marriage. In the episode, which is entitled “I was just cleaning it and it went off,” watch for cameos by characters named “Harmonica Flutinsky” and “Flick Norris,” as well as an appearance by the re-set button.

Makes you wonder if they will have the head of the NSA get caught with documents in his trousers.

Something About This Plot Sounds Very Familiar

    They're always plotting something.

Sounds like thinly-veiled pro-abortion and contraception propaganda. A suffering female high-achiever weighed down by the burdens of trying to keep her dysfunctional family together while saving the world. Her catch-phrase will probably be" Help me Andrea Dworkin!" Man, are we ever going to get sick of hearing THAT every ten minutes!

Will Mrs. Parrish have to deal with a treasonous prez. who plans to give Russia our missile defense secrets ? Will she follow through, or will she have a backbone and call him out on his many treasonous acts ?

It’s only treason if you get caught outside the bubble of Chicago on the Potomac.

If it is within ones capabilities to reach into the National Treasury at will and come up with your hands full of cash, dropping some along the way for prying eyes, no worries.

Something happened along the way to diminish our legal system when it became necessary to prove that a regular citizen has "standing" to take a high ranking gov. official to court and hold him accountable !

    Phil,

Just getting caught up ( and it was assuring to see uber journalist Chelsea Clinton land a well paying gig at NBC? ) what with her years of 'experience'..? But doesn't Elaine Barrish's former nemesis sound suspiciously like our Michelle!?

    Just curious.
