Charges Filed Against 4 Indiana Dems for 2008 Election Fraud
Filed Under Law, Politics | 24 Comments

Watch for this kind of thing multiplied by at least 20 in this year’s election. Fraud is the only hope Democrats have this year of holding their ground in Congress and retaining the White House, and they know it.
From Fox News:
Felony charges related to election fraud have touched the 2008 race for the highest office in the land.
Prosecutors in South Bend, Ind., filed charges Monday against four St. Joseph County Democratic officials and deputies as part of a multiple-felony case involving the alleged forging of Democratic presidential primary petitions in the 2008 election, which put then-candidates Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton on the Indiana ballot.
The officials are accused of taking part in a scheme to fake signatures and names on the primary petitions needed to run for president. Court papers say the plan was hatched by local Democratic Party officials inside the local party headquarters.

According to affidavits, Burkett told investigators it was his job to “forge petitions for candidate Barack Obama,” Shelton “was assigned to forge petitions for candidate Hillary Clinton” and Blythe “was assigned to forge petitions for candidate John Edwards.” When Edwards dropped out of the race at the end of January 2008 and Burkett refused to continue the forgeries, Morgan allegedly ordered Blythe to then forge petitions for Barack Obama.Indiana State Police investigators identified a total of 22 petitions that appeared to be faked, yet sailed through the Voter Registration Board as legitimate documents.
If they needed signatures that were authentic all they had to do was find a bunch of Gannett reporters. It works in Wisconsin, why not Indiana?

Dims have been cooking the books and fudging numbers for so long they lost sight of the fact this wasn't your BIL running for cty. commissioner. No one in IL, TX or WI for that matter had time to make sure Dims were dotting i's appropriately.
So this is what ultimately transpires when abuses go unchecked for ever and a day. Like the "early Friday knockoff routine" at so many workplaces, eventually no one is there to answer the phone. Then someone that mattered called…
Sounds like something worth the GOP suspending its war against Tea Party conservatives to address. Yeah, that'll happen. More likely, we Tea Party conservatives will again have to fight election fraud while fending off attacks by the GOP establishment.
Let me guess, these 4 didn't pony up enough protection money to the Obama re-election and protection fund.
"Indiana State Police investigators identified a total of 22 petitions that appeared to be faked, yet sailed through the Voter Registration Board as legitimate documents."
The big question is how many other petitions that were forged were never discovered?
Just a guess: Lots!
Mmm hmmm ! Alternate answer; More than a FEW ! Or as my Dad would say, "Way up `n several !"
In my neck-of-the-woods there`s an expression; The only thing worse than a "bought and paid for" politician is one who won`t 'stay' paid for !"
O/T…Did anyone else see what a Federal Appeals court has ordered the DoJ to do?

It's bad enough that the Dim's do this, it would be highly repugnant if the establishment GOP did it to defeat Tea Party candidates.
For certain to be repeated this election cycle.
In the photo image for this thread, doesn't it appear to be a preacher with his hands raised and with a cross behind him?
Snort worthy for certain ! As I heard today, Holder said he would respond as ordered, but I`ll be surprised if there isn`t some sort of attempt at hoodwinking or short shrifting !
A BIATCH SLAPPIN` that is so richly deserved !
In direct CONFLICT with everything good we've been told about Indiana our entire lives. Having grown up in neighboring Chicago we participated in many sporting events, had numerous friends attend ND, Ball State etc.
Hard working, God fearing salt of th earth! They'd never stoop to anything less than forthright!? So Dims set about exploiting hard earned reputations and short circuiting democracy over a 30+ year period, right under our noses.
If you've been reading Michelle Malkin, they are doing it in Wisconsin and Florida as we speak. They torpedoed Joe Miller in AK who defeated Murky Murkowski for the GOP nomination but ran and won as an independent with the full support of the GOP establishment Rovian progs. And then here in CA, Tea Party conservative Chuck Devore was torpedoed by McCain/Palin even though he was leading in the polls but they wanted liberal Dem Carly Fiorina.
There were many other examples. The GOP establishment is worse than the Dems.
Yep, the best place to hide is right under your nose, where no one is looking !
With particular regard where voter fraud is concerned. We're now caught in a horrid vortex where not chipping in for the GOP agenda -assures- you'll be molested at the hands of Progs/Dims.
We brought them control of the House on a silver platter. They can't even pitch in with a few injunctions, motions, high profile complaints. As a matter of fact, save for Michelle, I don't believe anyone is talking about voter fraud, at all?

The one-party establishment. It won't break up until we find the courage to vote against it in big numbers. So long as conservatives refuse to vote for conservative candidates because they are "unelectable", we will continue to be the dumbest voters of all. It's like Mark Steyn says, conservatives can always be counted on to vote for a liberal in the end.
Look no further than the hyper-ridonkulus "Stock Act". More voluntary 'enforcement' on CONgressional insider trading! If I understand Greta's guest Peter Schweizer correctly ( it doesn't even apply to real estate transactions )
Talk about "regulatory shopping"? For those that aren't MBA's, this is essentially when businesses survey the regulatory front and craft their entity structuring so as to take the most advantageous form prior to setting up shop. Or basically how we wound up John Corzine running a hedge fund.
With stock market all but played out, and tons of Bad Debt yet to be flushed out of the system, hell, real estate is the place to be anyway!

It is important to note that it was McConnell who gutted any meaning out of this bill. Just as it was Eric Cantor who pulled the bill banning earmarks. Anyone who believes that voting the Democrats out of power cleans up Washington is either stupid, ignorant or criminally naive.
Our country is failing because of our entrenched criminal class. People across the entire political spectrum keep whining, pissing and moaning about it yet keep holding their noses to vote for it over and over again and demonizing anyone.who dares point out the illogic of voting one way but expecting the opposite.
Just try explaining that to people who believe that there are degrees of dead, pregnant and/or honesty. Conservatives are the dumbest voting bloc of all.

A tip of the hat to PP. You are quite correct. Those examples eluded my memory when I posted the above comment. I do not know if they are worse, just repugnant.
As these networks are used by banks to settle accounts with each other, rapid or overnight wire transfer of large amounts of money are commonplace; while banks have put checks and balances in place, there is the risk that insiders may attempt to use fraudulent or forged documents which claim to request a bank depositor's money be wired to another bank, often an offshore account in some distant foreign country.
