“Alternate Associated Press headline: Romney threatens to take away union jobs:”

I didn’t get that impression from the clip. However, regarding union jobs:

With the possible exception of the truck drivers who carry the wind farm equipment out to the hills and maybe the mechanical assemblers who put them together, which would maybe amount to half a dozen, there can’t be many union jobs. And I’m not aware of one (1) union job in the manufacturing end of the solar or wind energy industry.

Now put that over against the oil energy industry with union jobs from exploration, drilling, pumping, refining, trucking, pipelining, railroading, and all related industrial jobs, etc., etc., and who is the killer of union jobs and the killer of jobs in general?

"A wind turbine on the not-yet-opened Klondike III wind farm east of the town of Wasco snapped in half Saturday, killing a maintenance worker at the top who fell to his death. A second worker inside the 242-foot-tall shaft was injured.

The turbine broke about 4 p.m. Saturday a little more than halfway up the nearly hollow tube that holds the blades, said Geremy Shull, a Sherman County sheriff's deputy.

It was the first death associated with a wind turbine collapse in Oregon."

There have been other tower collapses. These things aren't without their drawbacks. I recall when this story came out the photo showed a laminated structure that buckled like a house of cards. NO form of energy is attained without 'some' level of risk.

Speaking of risk, a dem big-oil man on Hannity last night `splained how environmentalists are cool with the idea of other countries producing oil, just not us. It`s a matter of the risk of spoiling the earf; theirs, not ours !

Wind turbines, aka; bird choppers !

For Zero, the environmentalists win out over the unions. It was their threat to withhold money that caused him to halt the KP. Warren Buffett wins by having his trains avail. to haul the oil from Canada to Texas !

Right, the top of the Prog Food Chain. From which all visions emanate.

Their most recent shift has been to reframe the debate with their product placement featuring the new moniker "oil dependen/oil dependent economy". Uh… ok, we'll go All Algae and fight wars over SEA harvesting..!?

Now at home ( for the weekend ) I found those groovy "Websites of the United States Government" welded to Windows 7. ( Spanish version ) and

Don't assume the Spanish language version is a mirror image of the English one. All kinds of helpful tips on Alcohol and/or Sexual Abuse. How to manage your finances etc. Basically a…. Portal to Dependency.

Enjoy THAT with your tiger meat!

I'd love to see the project built to 1 inch of the US/Canada border.

Then, each state do the same. One inch to the border. (No interstate/international anything at that point, right?)

When President Obama is out, spend an hour, insert the missing links, and get the oil flowing!
