The United Nations could be easily placated if the Obama administration would simply offer to include a likeness of Boutros Boutros-Ghali on Mount Rushmore. And who knows… maybe they already have!

From the Daily Mail:

A UN human rights official is urging the U.S. to turn over control of lands considered to be sacred to Native Americans, including the site of the Mount Rushmore National Memorial.

James Anaya, the UN special rapporteur on the rights of indigenous peoples, unveiled his recommendations in Geneva on Friday after completing a 12-day visit to the U.S. where he met with representatives of indigenous peoples in six states.

The fact-finder also had a chance to meet members of the Obama administration and briefed the U.S. Senate Committee on Indian Affairs, but no member of Congress agreed to meet with him.

Other places the United Nations suggests the U.S. cede control over because the U.N. believes them to be sacred to Native Americans include areas in Alaska, parts of the Pacific Northwest, and Elizabeth Warren’s front yard.

Hey U.N., Johnny Cash has a message for you.

Did anyone hear the Dick Morris interview yesterday on Hannity? Shillary and Ozero are quietly behind the scenes working on treaties with the UN and IMF regarding our borders, education, our shorelines and a myriad of other issues that would take away decisions from US courts and put it into the hands of the UN. It was quite an eye opening interview. I think Morris has a book out about it.

They can make all the deals they want, but a treaty isnt legal until it is ratified by the Senate (2/3 majority btw) and that is in the Constitution:

  3. Truesoldier__ on May 8th, 2012 5:39 pm

So the UN thinks we should cede land back to the native americans. Ok, let's start with the land the UN building sits on!

    Bingo! We have a winner!

  5. jeffythequick on May 8th, 2012 6:04 pm

Next, you're going to tell me that recess appointments can't be made while the Senate is in session.

  6. jeffythequick on May 8th, 2012 6:05 pm

    Dang… not quick enough…

I was thinking the same thing!

  7. Marshall_Will on May 8th, 2012 6:36 pm

Love it. Like the line in "Leathal Weapon VIII"

"Diplomatic Immunity… has just been revoked!"

Yeah, Progs are giving the country away out from underneath us one brick and dirt clod at a time anyway. No more drips and drabs Just Go For It! Is the book out yet? Any reviews, endorsements?

  8. Truesoldier__ on May 8th, 2012 7:00 pm

Yeah I know. At least the GOP finally decided that maybe they should join the lawsuit that was filed in regards to those illegal appointments.

  9. Marshall_Will on May 8th, 2012 7:49 pm

Pffftt, since when has this Administration agonized over what is/isn't 'legal'? As with any criminal undertaking ( where'd the fun be if it WAS legal? )

Can't wait to make a donation at the Rushmore View Casino & Resort. Losing money always more fun when you're in the best of company. According to nativist logic, I should be able to go back and stake out claim on Sophia Bulgaria simply b/c gramps was born there?

I read some time ago that Shrillary has been working with the Useless Nations to sign us up to ban our handgun ownership rights.

There is also serious suspicion that she and Bill had our gold bars removed from Fort Knox and shipped to China and elsewhere in diplomatic pouches and replaced with gold-plated (I think) carbon steel bars. We need to demand to have our gold bars PUBLICLY inspected !

  11. SignPainterGuy on May 8th, 2012 8:12 pm

Shrillary has committed acts of treason and sedition that should get her 30 days in front of a firing squad !

Well, one senator won't be returning…

    I can't wait for the 2028 election…
    I knew Dick Lugar
    Dick Lugar was my friend.
    Senator, you're no Dick.

Come on Utah! Let's show them who the Tea Party is!

    (*added*) AGAIN!

Winner, winner, chicken dinner – as long as it falls under MO's food plan!

    Nervous about Wisconsin though!

I`ve been praying about that; good over evil sorta thing. From what I`ve read over the past few days, the dems are scared – not confident of their win. Hope so !

  18. SignPainterGuy on May 9th, 2012 1:06 am

I`ve been looking at the NC primary results. Romney kicked butt with over 60% with 70 of 100 counties in. Ron Paul got 11%. Apparently, the dems can`t run just one candidate, so BHO is currently ahead of "No Preference" by 80% to 20%.

The Marriage Amendment is passing at just over 60% FOR. Polls showed over 80% support.

According to predictions, our state should have near record primary turnout, the most in over 25 years; 37%. Probably because of the MA. 37% of eligible voters could be bothered to decide our candidates and vote on the sanctity of marriage. Pitiful !!

  19. SignPainterGuy on May 9th, 2012 1:31 am

Wow, something really fascinating and puzzling has happened in NC ! I checked the results at 70 of 100 counties reporting; again at 89 of 100, but now, it seems NC has lost 5 counties. The chart is showing 95 of 95 counties reporting !

Obama: Your faith in your friends is your weakness…
Walker: Your overconfidence is yours (whips out light saber)

And people say I'm off base/ignored when drawing parallels to Marcos..? While the final disposition of Yamashita's Gold may never be known, it didn't stop Marcos from exploiting that uncertainty.

When his ousting became altogether too eminent, he allowed 'rumors' to slip that he'd actually 'found' the treasure some years prior and would now release them to the Philippine Central Bank to be redistributed in the form of loans ( read boodle )

All it resulted in was the looting of the PCB, the smelting and reforging of the bars complete with 'authentic' period correct Japanese military marks aiding the deception of expropriation. Marcos' vanity* fully intended to be revered as a 'hero' saving a collapsing Philippine Economy. That HE and has cronies had intentionally crashed.

*Marcos writers, historians and experts all agree his ego had gotten so out of control he essentially thought of himself as a separate entity. A 'shaman', an immortal… Again, NO parallels there!? Can you say Never Let A Good Crisis Go To Waste in Tagalog?

  22. SignPainterGuy on May 9th, 2012 3:32 am

I can`t say diddly in Tagalog, but in English, It`s "Thanks for the stories !" I for one appreciate your perspective on the parallels of two "would-be deities" looting their country`s treasuries !

  23. SignPainterGuy on May 9th, 2012 8:04 pm

Fascinating that Walker got more votes than the two dem challengers combined. There is hope for Wisconsin !

  24. ChapBix on May 9th, 2012 9:25 pm

Those five counties moved to the state of Euphoria.

  25. SignPainterGuy on May 9th, 2012 9:37 pm

I wonder ! They did finally return; I just have to wonder if they were among the 8 counties that voted down the MA. Buncombe, next to me and home of the San Fran of the East Coast, was one of those 8 by about 2,000 votes; little surprise.

I don`t know which other 7 voted AGAINST, but some of the larger cities in the state took the lib route, but their out-lying county voters outnumbered them. Fascinating times !

  26. ChapBix on May 9th, 2012 9:40 pm

That U.N. dude can park his urging where the sun does not shine.

  27. jeffythequick on May 9th, 2012 11:06 pm

    I'm a little worried now…

What would you do if the two combined of your opponents fell short of their opponent? Would you:

    A. Admit defeat and go home, thinking "aww… shucks"
    B. Round up everyone and use it as a rallying cry
    C. Dig up… well just have the dead vote anyway
    D. Rig the election
    E. B, C, and D

Try, if you can, to think like the progs.

  28. SignPainterGuy on May 9th, 2012 11:40 pm

Progs would rather go without lattes than admit defeat and say anything so corny as, "Aww shucks", so forget "A.".
Everyone Soros and the unions can pay have already been rounded up and are rallying as we speak, so there`s "B.".
"C. & D." have been in the pipeline for some time, so it appears everything has been tried or ready to be.

    I think it`s all over but the cryin` …. for somebody !
