Fixed: Time Magazine’s Latest Cover

You may have seen the latest cover of Time Magazine shamelessly promoting an article on “attachment parenting”:

I’m not sure but I think “attachement parenting” is a fancy way of saying “breast feeding until your kid’s old enough to vote or his mustache tickles your nipple, whichever comes first.”

    While I don’t quite get the meaning of “the looking spoon” it is a great shopped photo. Though I do believe it’s misleading that the child at the breast of big government in the ‘spoon’s’ photo as being shown as a Euro or Scando American child when the percentages on the graph are much, much higher for Afro American children and children of illegal-o aliens.

    I suppose that would be a racist pic though. If one fears charges of racism, just throw a pale-face in there, that’s never racist.

    Gee whiz, my mind is whirring with thoughts and analogies for the original story and the photoshopping, but mostly, I`m at a loss for the word for "simultaneously gross, funny and just plain wrong" !

    Great Friday night – fun document dump – Doug! Gross – but funny. Rush did a photoshop too only used the Statue of Liberty in place of the so called mom. By the way Frank Beckman at WJR in Detroit did an interview this morning with the doctor that promotes this crap.

    Needless to say the doc is a liberal kook.

    I can understand your squeamishness. It’s a good thing.

    The work itself is over there in the realm where homosexuality lies. But if the MSM foists it upon the public enough the public’s resistance begins to break down. That’s a bad thing.

    Then when the break down point for most people is reached, anyone who is still strong enough to continue to resists any of life’s perversions or whoever complains is made out by the overly vocal, tolerant-if-you-agree-with-me, weak-willed ‘yes’ people to be the bad guy bigot or racist and belongs to the party of ‘NO’.

    No doubt this doc also believes children should not be disciplined, their misspelling should not be corrected, etc; their self esteem may be damaged, their creativity may be stunted !

    I can't for the life of me figure out what a person personally gains by photoshopping a picture of the leader of their country and posting it all over the internet. Decency and respect should NOT be a political issue. It should be an American value.

    pResident Downgrade is not a leader; leading is not done from behind.

    I can think of only 3 things he has done that were in any way good; twice he agreed to send extra troops to Afghanistan at the request of Generals in the field …. after he waited for several months to get around to it and he gave the go-ahead to get Bin Laden …. again, AFTER waiting almost a year from the time his location was first confirmed. Oh, a 4th thing; Capt. Zero gave the go-ahead for Seal Snipers to shoot those pirates that had taken over a ship off the coast of East Africa.

    The Vacationer / Spender-in-Chief has lied to our faces, broken every promise except one – fundamentally changing the USA and rammed job killing, hugely expensive policies down our throats contrary to his own advisers in some cases. The Campaigner-in-Chief has stabbed our allies in the back while appeasing and often funding our enemies. He has apologized to the world for America`s greatness and called our efforts and successes at liberation of foreign countries …. for nearly nothing ….. atrocities.

    You expect us to respect him ? You expect us to view him as in any way decent and return with decency ? We absolutely DO respect the Office of the President of the United States of America – the Greatest Nation this world has ever known, but as for the Liar-in-Chief, NOT ON YOUR LIFE !!
