Bill Maher Now Part Owner of New York Mets

Now this will bring the league a touch of class.

Word is that Maher is now lobbying the team to put Sarah Palin’s picture on their hats and change the name to the New York C*#ts. Also, over the weekend Maher modeled a new uniform he’s trying to get the team to wear.

This New York Times story says that Maher’s views are steeped in “libertarianism.” Uh huh… all libertarians donate a million dollars to pro-Obama Super Pacs.

Hopefully now Rush Limbaugh will make a bid to buy a piece of the Mets just to see if the MLB is as tolerant of opposing views as the NFL was.

    No, the MLB will not be more tolerant than the NFL was; Limbaugh is just too controversial !

    I cannot imagine the illogic involved in the Mets decision-making !

    If that were to be shown accurate he should have been supporting Ron Paul.

    No, it all depends on WHERE the selectively blind MSM are standing around the elephant when they reach out and then try to describe what they’ve touched.

    From that far left Maher may feel that way.

    If the "selectively blind MSM" are equating Bill Maher with the part of the elephant they`ve touched, they MUST be on the south end of a north-facing pachyderm !

    Thanks, Jeffy; I heard the story on radio this morning, now I`ve seen it to complete the feeling. Some rare individuals care more about being helpful than being first. Inspiring indeed. Good on the officials for not disqualifying the selfless runner !

    I also noticed this. If you don’t specifiy the theme engine in your themes .info file, Drupal 7 won’t use your page.tpl.php but will use everything else. So I would also say this line is indeed required.
