Thanks for the much needed chuckles today, Doug! Great find!
I just found one recently about Hitler reacting to the Lyme Disease cover-up being exposed, it made me happy since that's the thing that happens to be killing me, here's the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AzCYZowfCN0

The part about "Sacramento" was priceless. I'm so glad that whoever made that movie is letting everyone have such a great time with it!

    Good stuff for afternoon laughs!

A classic scene made all the better w/ clever ( and stunningly accurate ) sub-titles.

We need to be leery here. The Professional Left's 'defense' will be that ( like Pelnazi's "Unemployment checks are the best Stimulus for the economy" ) they will contend without bloated pension checks, some rural communities will be devastated!

    Bring.It.On We.Don't.Care

Well, we 'do' and it's disingenous of them to feign concern ( just look at last night's map of WI ) but it won't stop them in their attempt to put a human interest spin on this. Be ready!

Thought about that. Are the actors getting paid royalties on this? If so they're killing it!

It`s a travesty that the medical establishment and some of the drug companies refuse to see the truth about Chronic Lyme Disease and are not only allowing patients to remain sick and become terribly debilitated, but Drs who continue to treat patients beyond the "recommended" two weeks are drummed out of biz !

An NC Dr who continued treating patients lost his license to practice in the state. The Med. Establishment and the drub cos MUST be held to account AND be forced to change their procedures !

When we lived out in the country, and BOY did we live in the country, by the mid/late 90's there was at least a growing awareness of the disease. We had a barn and I never ate or drank out there and washed my hands thoroughly before coming inside.

At least we understood basic countermeasures. I've known a few people that contracted it and were absolutely miserbale. Mid-conversation they'd have to hang up the phone. BUT… it's largely a RURAL affliction so screw 'em right? How are the 16 oz. Big Gulp enforcements going?

Not sure if this comes under Civil Disobedienceor not but…

Really not pulling over for the po-po when they light up the sirens any more. Oh… I make a feigned 'effort' to get over and YES I realize "What if it was one of YOUR family members!?"

But catapaulting myself headlong off a cliff isn't really helping is it? Going I-5 South in Eugene, OR (2) deputies are Rock & Roll. Older drivers are freaking out and every hemp hauler assumes it's them they are after! Got off on Hwy 58 a few miles later and… it's minor fender bender. You know, especially when they're headed the other way, what is my pulling over to the shoulder 'aiding'? Just a thought, and another potential ticket. Whatever…

Aah, it took a minute and a re-reading, but I think I have the jist of it; How much room do they really need to get by you ?

If it`s the cops and they light-up right behind me, then I signal to pull over and slow down a little looking for the best place to stop. If they go on by, then I return to normal and may even pray for their safety and that of any victims ahead.

If it`s fire or EMT, then if they need my lane to proceed on, then I get out of the way asap. If they have the passing lane clear to get by me, then I don`t pull over / off; I maintain where I am so as not to confuse them; I mean, they`re supposed to be good drivers and HOW MANY LANES DO THEY NEED ? I also pray for them !

That's Dr. Jemsek, he's famous for his groundbreaking work with this disease, but he now practices in DC after having been legally persecuted in NC. http://www.jemsekspecialty.com/drjemsek.php

The local talk show host did two days on Lyme Disease and mentioned Dr Jemsek the first day and a couple weeks later had him on the show by phone. It was very interesting and disgusting how he was railroaded out !

Last year I mentioned the host and co-host who were forced out (They have their own station and show now) called "Take a Stand"; well, this new guy is so much better ! He actually DOES Take a Stand instead of getting right up to the point of "taking a stand", but then backing off to remain "Neutral" for the sake of debate. MUCH better !

I made the video. When I posted it, they made me allow advertising before the video as a precondition for the copyright holder's allowance. So yes, I assume the original "Downfall" cast and crew are getting an advertising cut every time it's viewed. God bless 'em — capitalism at work!

Well done ! It`s one of my fave versions. Fascinating how many themes the same vid has been used for !
