I don’t know why anybody would want to be a guest on Cenk Uygur’s show — unless it was recommended by your contact at the Federal Witness Protection Program as the best way to make yourself scarce — but if you did, and spoke out on a subject you were clearly clueless about, the host would certainly call you out. That’s why it’s so much fun to watch the left, most who have no idea what they’re talking about concerning firearms, describe why certain guns should be banned:

Who can argue with that level of expertise? Go on his show and argue that Obamacare should be repealed while making it clear you don’t know anything about the individual mandate or what it does and he’d laugh you off the set.

It’s hard to believe that kind of genius stuck in obscurity at Current TV — the media equivalent of being sent to Siberia.

Not long ago these same people were fawning all over the Supreme Court for affirming Obamacare, but they quickly forgot that same Court upheld Americans’ fundamental Second Amendment rights.

I’d also encourage Uygur not to read this story.

He knows almost as little about guns as Obama does about economics.

"…fire them all at the same time…"? That would be an interesting gun. Personally, I would use that approach with the EPA.

I haven't seen the video, but I can take a pretty educated guess at what was said. So how many of the weapons were described as fully automatic?

  4. SignPainterGuy on July 24th, 2012 1:51 pm

You`d have guessed right in most cases, but in this case, Cenk is fumbling over what you call those things that hold all those bullets that used to be banned but aren`t now !

Magazines, clips or magazine clips. Aw gee, bullet holder thingamajigs ! (keepin` it in the realm of Zero`s knowledge)

Come on now bwc, Oblamer knows well how to take down an economy; Cenk doesn`t know the first thing about taking down a pistol or rifle !

There`s an electronic gun, multi-barreled, in which the unique bullets are stacked 6+ in each barrel end to end and fired by an electric trigger. They can fire at the rate of about a million per second, though the gun can`t hold nearly that number. The effect is "all-at-once" !

"Metal Storm" if I`m not mistaken.

LOL…that is too funny. I can just see it now.. The projectile holder and feeder thingy.

I remember when the MK-19 Automatic Grenade Launcher was first being tested at Ft Campbell, KY in the earlier half of the 90's. Our unit was one of the first to test it on a live fire range. We had them set up a batallion worth of target dummies spread out in fighting positions on the range. We emptied an entire box of ammo while traversing at maximum effective range and watched how within 30 seconds all rounds had left the tube and were beginning to impact the target area. All the target dummies were peppered with shrapnel. We fell in love with that weapon that day.

"Brain Freeze" is a terrible thing to be wasted on pResidunces !

The very toy-like firing sound, "foomp" is in no way indicative of what comes next.

    Is the MK-19 AGL vehicle-mounted ?

Ever notice how virtually every Leftist who wants "gun control" always proudly mentions at some point that they "know so little about guns"?

  13. @towerclimber37 on July 24th, 2012 3:38 pm

it can be. it can also be tripod mounted.

Cenk Uygur isn't exactly the sharpest tool in the shed. To compound that problem, he refuses to look at facts and, like Ross at ABC, intentionally takes facts out of context to use as he likes.
one would think that he'd at least inform himself about what he's reporting on but he's too stupid to do even that.
the guy's a joke and the best thing for Al Gore is to keep paying him. Bleed that money away so that the left has nothing to show for their efforts.

Yes, which seems counter-productive since they want us to get it thru our thick skulls that they are smarter than us !

  16. SignPainterGuy on July 24th, 2012 4:05 pm

    Interesting !

  17. SignPainterGuy on July 24th, 2012 4:07 pm

Thanks; I should Bing it for pix. I take it it`s not something to be toted very far at all !

  18. SignPainterGuy on July 24th, 2012 4:11 pm

I did Bing it, Wiki has several photos. It`s between hand-held size and too big to tote at all ! 72.5 lb. is a lot to carry very far.

  19. SignPainterGuy on July 24th, 2012 4:25 pm

John Teves, Father of one of the Aurora shooting victims, in an interview with Anderson Cooper said we should not talk about, mention the names of these shooters, publicity seekers. They just want to revel in the fame and infamy.

Paul Harvey didn`t mention their names. Rush just mentioned that after the gal, basically walking boobs, ran out and kissed a third baseman, networks no longer show people who run out on the play-field. I think this is the proper action, or NON-action. Refuse them their notoriety !

your telling me. Just carrying it from the gun truck (i.e. HUMVEE) to the fighting position for dismount drills is bad enough. I can only imagine what it would be like to try to carry that bad boy any real distance.

  21. SignPainterGuy on July 24th, 2012 7:57 pm

    Yeah, that`s what I`m sayin` !

It`s my understanding that today`s combat soldier can have 75 ish lb. of gear at any one time, BUT, that gear is placed in packs, shoulder or belt or vest harnesses and thereby fairly well distributed evenly on his body so he`s not straining forward or back, or to one side. In the pix of the MK-19, I didn`t notice any carry handles or shoulder strap links so I guess handling it means one hand on the barrel and the other on one of the rear grips. Imagine toting it that way for 5 miles ! Uuunnnnh !!

Just remember back 30 years ago when all the Democrats said they wanted to outlaw were those cheap little "Saturday Night Specials." They swore back then they'd never come for long guns.

  23. SignPainterGuy on July 25th, 2012 1:35 am

Yeah, they just wanted rid of those cheap little guns that can blow up in your hands, can be bought on any street corner and can be hidden in a pocket very easily. That was "all" they wanted ! Well, that and higher taxes and ….
