The MSM Obama lapdogs were just pushing the meme that Romney is a bully, and now this?

Our friend Jared at The Looking Spoon came up with some covers that were more fitting given the subject, but Newsweak wouldn’t have touched these in a million years:

More here.

Do you think the Newsweak suits sincerely don’t know why they’re dying a slow, expensive death?

All the bias that's fit to print, and then some.

Because any 'wimp' can run a multi-billion dollar company right?

How is it NW manages to remain in the Summer doldrums year round? Must be a gift. How long until they try to wriggle under the same public-financed sheets NPR keeps toasty?

OT: So many thanks to all the posters for their concern here lately. Conservative Just-a-bloggers are a stronger community than Dims could ever comprehend. Thanks again!

They tried this with Bush Sr. back in 1987:

Just like all liberals, Newsweak is just another broken record.

I did hear that Newsweak is going over to a digital only format. Gee I wonder why that could be…..

Back in the `90s, I had a subscription to an automotive mag and US News and World Retort (same poor steno-graphing skills as Newsweak) from some pkg deal. I let them expire. After several mailed, failed attempts to seduce me to renew with FABULOUS DISCOUNTS, a woman called to inquire why I hadn`t tripped over myself to renew their great mag. I told her, "I`m tired of seeing President Clinton and Bill`s faces on the cover !" She said, "Uh oh !" and I said, "Bye !"

    "Newsweak"

Good one, great link. Thanks for the refresher!

This is of course as compared to the current All Our pResident who remains ambiguous at age 50+ on his own s_xual idendity from day to day..? And about a dozen or so other key issues…

Typical Left Double Standard: What.., Conservatives can't 'evolve'?

  8. Truesoldier__ on July 30th, 2012 7:40 pm

Speaking of Obama and his "identity" I see that the Dem's have decided to fully court the gay/lesbian community in full this elections cycle:

Democrats are set to include a pro-gay marriage plank in their convention platform for the first time in history
    http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0712/79126.h

Pretty sad when they have been pandering to the gay/lesbian community for the past couple years and still have not fully secured their vote.

  9. Truesoldier__ on July 30th, 2012 7:43 pm

And growing stronger everyday. The old media is on it's last leg and they are too set in their ways to evolve.

No worries. It's what we do.

Off O/T: I'm looking forward to the September Surprise… (since October Surprise will be too late with the early voting up here…) If anyone has a question about the religion things we crazy LDS do, just ask.

  11. Truesoldier__ on July 30th, 2012 8:17 pm

No kidding. I am waiting for that surprise as well. Of course with Gregoire on her way out, and SoS Sam Reed (R)ino, I am thinking that the sky is the limit.

Are you suggesting, unlike libby lefties, you guys would actually give straight, honest answers ? Without 5 or 6 of your wives interrupting ? ;-)

    O/T…Huge News!!!!

Federal Court finds Obama appointees interfered with New Black Panther prosecution.

The documents reveal that political appointees within DOJ were conferring about the status and resolution of the New Black Panther Party case in the days preceding the DOJ’s dismissal of claims in that case, which would appear to contradict Assistant Attorney General Perez’s testimony that political leadership was not involved in that decision. Surely the public has an interest in documents that cast doubt on the accuracy of government officials’ representations regarding the possible politicization of agency decision-making.

In sum, the Court concludes that three of the four fee entitlement factors weigh in favor of awarding fees to Judicial Watch. Therefore, Judicial Watch is both eligible and entitled to fees and costs, and the Court must now consider the reasonableness of Judicial Watch’s requested award.

Heard of House of Pancakes? That link sounded like Wall of Waffles.

They haven't heard any specific 'language' just yet but are thrilled nonetheless! Why don't you guys ask all the voters eager to get behind the pResident on Healthcare how tickled they are..?

  15. Marshall_Will on July 30th, 2012 9:27 pm

Certainly shouldn't be a 'shocker'. Michelle and others have been hammering on this for years. What IS refreshing is Judicial Watch never gave up the good fight.

To thugs like O'Drama they're probably a bit bent we didn't just drop this and move on the their next pyrotechnic distraction?

Curious to see if the case(s) is now filed and investigated or if it dies on the vine (the rest of the way).

After dealing with the first Mrs. thequick, who put my name and SSN on a bill, but it went to her house, and she didn't pay it, one tenet is true:

Marriage is forever. Even after 13 years apart.

And yes, I'll give straight honest answers. I'm putting on my progressive goggles (watching Mike Huckabee helps… he was a dirtbag on Romney and religion in 2008) to see what they might come up with.

One thing I can be clear on: There is a directive from SLC to not talk about politics at the pulpit by anyone. About the extent I hear is "remember to vote". Any more, and the bishop will stop the person (I've seen it done once), and advise the congregation to that effect.

  18. jeffythequick on July 31st, 2012 4:56 am

    O/T Kristi Yamaguchi endorses Romney.

I like that the good looking women are conservatives (Mrs. thequick, included!).

Always liked that gal! And she is married to former hockey player Brent Hedican! Two skaters in one family – doesn't get any better than that!

  20. SignPainterGuy on July 31st, 2012 3:44 pm

I want to know why it`s OK and encouraged for black churches to talk about politics in church, but not for whites ! They even meet during services, after church, even call special gatherings in the church for political rallies and meeting the candidates. It`s all good !

  21. Obama bin Biden on July 31st, 2012 5:34 pm

It'll be nice to have an American in the White House again come January.

  22. jeffythequick on July 31st, 2012 6:16 pm

I'm just thinking about the principles of the church, and every member having a calling (a job). Imagine being the President's home teacher (two people that go to 2-3 members' houses and see how they're doing, and give a short lesson), or being one of his home teaching families…

"Honey, we need to let the SS in to do a sweep again…"
