I’d say “unbelievable” but we have to remember who we’re talking about here:

The assault on freedom of speech is being aided by those in the highest levels of our government.

Any real US leaders would be saying “there is no excuse for cold blooded murder… none. Period.” But the people currently in charge rarely miss an opportunity to apologize for our constitutional freedoms with their “battered spouse syndrome” approach to foreign policy.

Update: Jay Carney: “This is not a case of protests directed at the United States writ large or at U.S. policy.”

Weapons grade ignorance combined with political desperation is embarrassing:

    Dear Subject Supporter,

It has come to my attention that the Constitution still applies, at least the 3rd Amendment does, and what I wrote about yesterday with you, my volunteers, being like the soldiers murdered who sacrificed in Egypt.

Anyway, let's not dwell in the past, but let's move Forward! We have asked you to send your wedding gifts in, held raffles to be a 3rd wheel on dates with me and my wife, and heck, even asked to take a night OFF the town and send us the check for the amount you would have spent.

It's just not enough sacrifice for you. What we're looking for is real. The sacrifices that you'll have to endure should I win are greater than now, so now is a good time to start. Get on the 5 year sacrifice plan, so you don't have higher sacrifice payments than the 4 or 3 year sacrificers do. Think of it like a car payment for a Volt. Who pays more, the one that pays over 5 years or over 3?

With that, I'm asking you to open your house to some random person that has the same ethical standards that I do, and let them have free run of the house, your kids, your possessions, and your fridge. Heck, this person may invite several of his friends over and you can discuss things like how home ownership is part of the 1% class, and how we should all share. Just let them stay for 31 days, and you'll be shocked about how they'll grow on you, and the renters rights they will then have.

So, I'm asking telling you, do it now, or else that Mormon will win.

So Shrillary goes out and appologizes for our freedom of speech, while these terrorists and thugs murder our Ambassador and now torch anything that is deemed a symbol of America:

"The unrest over an amateur anti-Islam film made in America spread to Lebanon today as an angry mob set fire to a Kentucky Fried Chicken and a Hardee's."

And of course this is solely over some obscure film. That is why it is now also Britain's and Germany's fault as well:

"It adds to unrest in Sudan where an angry mob attacked the British and German embassies"

Yep, I am sure a ton of people are going to be willing to open up their homes to some smelly OWS type….

  4. Marshall_Will on September 14th, 2012 12:33 pm

While not a perfect parallel, this is by and large a mess of their own making.

Where was their fauxrage when a certain Alaska Governor was parodied in adult films..? Of course, I suppose it's someone's Constitutional Right to DO so, but there was not (1) ONE 'word' of condemnation.

In fact, so far as we can tell, Dingy Harry has the full Director's Cut DVD collection? Don't you pukes DARE get on some moral soapbox. How about SARAH'S fundamental right to be treated with basic human dignity?

Did the purveyor of that filth get a personal phone call from a general under the Obama Admin. telling them they didn't think it was in very good taste?

  5. Truesoldier__ on September 14th, 2012 12:38 pm

At least the German press gets it:

'Obama's Middle East Policy Is in Ruins'
    http://www.spiegel.de/international/world/german-

  6. Truesoldier__ on September 14th, 2012 1:09 pm

And yet another US Embassy's grounds have been breached.

  8. Marshall_Will on September 14th, 2012 1:35 pm

WHAT 'policy'? The I'm Co' so you'all be co' too policy?

Sadly the German press appears equally fixated on The Film No One Saw.

  9. Marshall_Will on September 14th, 2012 1:39 pm

    KFC and Hardee's hardest hit.

  10. Truesoldier__ on September 14th, 2012 1:43 pm

And now there are bomb threats at UT-Austin and North Dakota State. The caller was a male with a ME accent claiming to have ties to AQ and have planted bombs.

  11. Truesoldier__ on September 14th, 2012 1:49 pm

The fact that they have realized Obama's policy (or as you put it so well, lack thereof) is a small step in the right direction. Like in the movie 'What about Bob?' they have to start with baby steps.

  12. Truesoldier__ on September 14th, 2012 1:51 pm

Let me guess. KFC was hit because it is run by a US Colonel and Hardees was hit because it is run by an infidel Christian.

  13. Truesoldier__ on September 14th, 2012 1:55 pm

Maybe Romney should change the "Are you better off today than you were 4 years ago?" question to "Are you SAFER today than you were four years ago?".

  14. Marshall_Will on September 14th, 2012 2:13 pm

Yeah, YO… guys!? Not a real 'Colonel' okaaay?

And why hit Austin, TX? They're so 'tolerant'? Yeah, wake up call a-holes. You're in it too.

  15. Truesoldier__ on September 14th, 2012 2:23 pm

Now they have set fire to a US School in Tunis

Not to worry….Carney says the protests are not directed at the US.

"Ridiculous statements and outright lies" – Poppin` Jay Carney has surpassed Gibbs in their competition to outdo Baghdad Bob !

  18. jeffythequick on September 14th, 2012 2:51 pm

The 31 day thing actually happened to me in my younger days. We opened our house up to a "friend" and once she was in there for 31 days, I brought up that she needed to move on, and she told me that I had to evict her, because she had rights.

    It turns out, she did.

  19. jeffythequick on September 14th, 2012 2:56 pm

Side show Carney, at his best.

  20. SignPainterGuy on September 14th, 2012 3:15 pm

Rush just played a sound-bite of Carney doubling down on how everyone who IS anyone is saying the protests are about the film !

Yep, Baghdad Bob`s reputation is in serious danger !

  21. Truesoldier__ on September 14th, 2012 3:26 pm

Another thought on this. Carney also said doubled down on the Libya attack was not pre-planned. Let's say we take them at their word (not that we do). Would that not mean an even larger security issue.

If they cannot protect an embassy against an unplanned, uncoordinated attack, then how could they ever protect against a planned and coordinated attack?

  22. Marshall_Will on September 14th, 2012 3:27 pm

As with all their claims, straw, semantic and otherwise misleading, there's always a shred of plausibility. No need for piling on, I'd be the LAST person to lend credibility, especially here.

Was there a video made? Yes. Was the video inflammatory? Yes. Was the maker Jewish? Yes. Was the video actually seen by the 'protestors'? Yes, at least that's what they're claiming.., and that's good enough for us!

So they feel they have the Right all boxed in. As if bodies in the street halfway around the world due to lax security is somehow our/Romney's fault? It also serves to drive a wedge in the Jewish vote. So many ways to spin!

Now that is funny. Thanks MW

  25. SignPainterGuy on September 14th, 2012 6:50 pm

"….. how could they ever protect …." – I have to wonder if "protecting the embassies" was ever really a concern for this admin.; only a handful of MARINES without live ammo; just rubber bullets and tear gas ? no barbed wire on the consulate walls ? having native police forces for security ?

With reports of advance warnings that were apparently ignored / the appearance that no one ever picked up the ball to have "dropped it"; I`m ready to have this admin. and the State Dept. and some of our security agencies charged with dereliction of duty, complicity, TREASON and more once we get warmed up !

  26. SignPainterGuy on September 14th, 2012 6:58 pm

I certainly hope I`m not held to task for some things I did at 19, but I CAN say I learned better eventually, JG, not so much !

The commenters see her as an idiot, but one LOVES the job Jen is doing / has done. Put down the crack pipe and back away from the liberal kool aid !!

  27. Marshall_Will on September 14th, 2012 7:26 pm

    No shizz.

In fact, when Doug posted her unhinged ( swing state pandering ) tirade from the DNC, guys my age had to wonder, did we go OUT together back in the late 70's..? She sure looks familiar.

The 70's called and they want their big hair back Jenn! You could even say she was ahead of her time b/c that git' up looked like a precursor to the 80's fo' so'.

  28. SignPainterGuy on September 14th, 2012 8:55 pm

I will say this about the `70s and `80s women, they weren`t tattooed and pierced from pillar to post !

  29. backwoodsconsr on September 14th, 2012 9:29 pm

Indeed. In a sane world those girls would be guaranteeing themselves a severe lack of attention from the opposite sex, but they are finding mates who are as deliberately disfigured as they are. I lose interest in woman real quick when I see that stuff.
