How would the country survive without them?

Lots more of these “threats” here.

It’s almost like there’s a mass sensing of a coming Obama loss. Oh well… like I say to all Obama supporters threatening to leave if The One becomes The Done: Don’t let the door hit you in my wallet.

Speaking of that, if they need money for a one-way ticket out of here, they’ve finally found a freebie the rest of us wouldn’t mind funding.

I’m skeptical of their seriousness to leave. Alec Baldwin’s still here, for God’s sake.

Of course there is also the JetBlue contest that if your candidate looses you could win a ticket out of the country:

Another plus if they actually follow through on their threat – unemployment would drop dramatically!

    Thanks President Romney!

Good we need to repair the country without the divisiveness of the communists that ruined it.

    Scotty,

My thoughts exactly. And it hardly ends there. We'll just pull the plug on their SSDI application, won't be liable for funding any more of their career student 'loans' nor will we be forced to pay Police union members OVERTIME to keep their shiftless OWS rallies marginally 'civil'.

More PARKING! Oh and we'll ship that POS 300k+ mile Subaru to the despotic location of your CHOICE. Venezuela should suit them just fine…

The pain, the sheer amount of PAIN I intend to inflict on Progressives from every walk of life knows no bounds. If they want to keep a BIKE PATH open they'll need to be willing to go the whole nine yards. And it's not like 'I'll' have to do anything? We're broke as a joke and everything above basic services will get the ax. Too bad, so sad…

You might as well leave the country; there might be jobs here (my apologies to the 99%). Not that you’ll be taking one if it does come along.

Is your mommy monitoring your Twitter account?

Going to Canada, to Canada, to Canada? Sounds like the Viet Nam era. Been there, done that, didn’t work (for lack of a better word).

Going to Canada, to Canada, to Canada? Yeah, like they want you there! Try Venezuela. Work (sorry, there’s that word again) with Chavez on his socialist utopia. Take Zero with you.

Just make sure we revoke their citizenship as soon as their flights depart.

  7. jeffythequick on October 10th, 2012 5:55 pm

The country of Liberia was created by former US slaves in Africa.

Maybe they can seize on this idea and create a new country in some uninhabited land where they can set up their utopia.

Antarctica has land available, but I'm sure we can just have them take over some African country and set up their paradise.

I was thinking about California, but I don't want them too close. Heck, we can trade the hard working illegals for them, as kind of a trade.

Maybe they can name it Liberalia, with their major cities Tried, Failed, and Try Again!

  8. jeffythequick on October 10th, 2012 6:03 pm

I have a much better idea! Offer them cheaper tickets if they fly on, or before 11/5/12!

  9. BrokenGlasses on October 10th, 2012 6:18 pm

    Hey Libs.
Is this a threat or a promise?
    Oh. A promise?
Finally a promise a Dem will keep.
    I hope!

  10. jeffythequick on October 10th, 2012 7:14 pm

Unfortunately, they'll be focused like a candle on moving away.

They'll just use the prosperity as a new feeding host and leech away.

  11. Marshall_Will on October 10th, 2012 8:14 pm

The South Pole is too… 'eco-sensitive'. Funny thing is, I don't believe Canada would be in any big hurry to take them either?

  12. Truesoldier__ on October 10th, 2012 8:24 pm

To sweeten the deal add a buy one get one free. That way they can take a friend with them.

Liberals leaving America? A lot of talk from uninformed and duped sleepwalkers. They won't expatriate since they know how good it is in America. I did leave the country in 2010 swearing I would not return until Obama is either voted out or thrown in jail. The South Pacific has been great, but now with Romney due to be sworn in as our 45th president, I will return to my America in November 2012. I must say this: liberals couldn't survive without the teat of the United States sustaining them. They won't leave, and that is just sad. ROMNEY 2012!

  14. Jimbo on October 11th, 2012 2:52 am

What a bunch of babies. Like they could dislodge themselves from the teat for five minutes.

  15. jeffythequick on October 11th, 2012 10:50 am

I agree. There is disagreement (heck, I'm an engineer, and when you get 5 engineers in a room, you get at least 8 opinions…) and there is active dissent, once a decision is made.

It's evil what they do, and can be seen in the ghey votes. A people vote something down, and then they take it to court, and if they lose, they repeat the process, with the next time, shopping for a different judge.

  16. jeffythequick on October 11th, 2012 10:53 am

I think it's an empty threat. If When Romney wins, they'll just stay and harp on every little thing he does wrong, and pine for the glory days we;re living in now.

The main thing we need to do is focus on this election, and get all the conservatives we can out to vote.

  17. jeffythequick on October 11th, 2012 10:55 am

I know this is a bit premature, but welcome home! Please come back on, or before the 5th to help make President Romney a reality!

(I know I said the 5th, but I wanted to give you time to get over the jet lag).

Good to have you back… would love to watch you walk into a voting booth – would warm the heart to see it – of course your voting absentee – just sayin

Do you under-freaking-stand what will happen if Romney gets elected president.

He wants to start a war with Iran. Do you understand this? HE WANTS TO START ANOTHER DAMN WAR WHEN WE HAVEN'T PAID OFF THE FIRST TWO.

His tax cuts will add 5 trillion to the deficit. A Tax Policy Center analysis of Romney’s proposal for a 20 percent across-the-board tax cut in all federal income tax rates, eliminating the Alternative Minimum Tax, eliminating the estate tax and other tax reductions, would reduce federal revenue $480 billion in 2015. This amounts to $5 trillion over the decade. If Romney hopes to provide tax relief to the middle class, then his $5 trillion tax cut would add to the deficit. There are not enough deductions in the tax code that primarily benefit rich people to make his math work.

As the Tax Policy Center concluded, Romney’s plan can’t both exempt middle class families from tax cuts and remain revenue neutral. “He’s promised all these things and he can’t do them all. In order for him to cover the cost of his tax cut without adding to the deficit, he’d have to find a way to raise taxes on middle income people or people making less than $200,000 a year,” the Center found.

Romney’s plan for “energy independence” actually relies heavily on a study that assumes the U.S. continues with fuel efficiency standards set by the Obama administration. For instance, he uses Citigroup research based off the assumption that “‘the United States will continue with strict fuel economy standards that will lower its oil demand.” Since he promises to undo the Obama administration’s new fuel efficiency standards, he would cut oil consumption savings of 2 million barrels per day by 2025.

Romney’s plan to shift the country to a territorial tax system would allow corporations to do business and make profits overseas without ever being taxed on it in the United States. This encourages American companies to invest abroad and could cost the country up to 800,000 jobs.

Here is how Romney’s Medicare plan will affect current seniors: 1) by repealing Obamacare, the 16 million seniors receiving preventive benefits without deductibles or co-pays and are saving $3.9 billion on prescription drugs will see a cost increase, 2) “premium support” will increase premiums for existing beneficiaries as private insurers lure healthier seniors out of the traditional Medicare program, 3) Romney/Ryan would also lower Medicaid spending significantly beginning next year, shifting federal spending to states and beneficiaries, and increasing costs for the 9 million Medicare recipients who are dependent on Medicaid.

Obamacare will actually provide millions of families with tax credits to make health care more affordable. The Affordable Care Act would actually expand health care coverage to 30 million Americans, despite Romney fear mongering. According to CBO director Douglas Elmendorf, 3 million or less people would leave employer-sponsored health insurance coverage as a result of the law.

Romney has previously called for full repeal of Dodd-Frank, a law whose specific purpose is to regulate banks. MF Global’s use of customer funds to pay for its own trading losses is just one bit of proof that the financial industry isn’t responsible enough to protect consumers without regulation.

Romney would be absolutely terrible for this country. He has no foreign policy experience to speak of, his approach is never apologize, we are always right, which is a ridiculously unfeasible and stupid approach to International politics. His business experiences comes from Bain Capital.

    What does Bain Capital do?

In 1985 Romney says Bain's business model is to acquire companies and then "harvest them at a significant profit" in five to eight years. Here's how it works: Target companies are fattened up like sacrificial animals on a diet of debt, much of which goes to pay the exorbitant fees charged by companies like Bain. That put intense pressure on their management to pump up short-term earnings by any means necessary. Jobs are lost. Companies go bankrupt. The harvest continues.

There are good investment firms with long-term strategies. Then there are the "harvesters," whose fast-buck business model has had repercussions throughout the economy. They take whatever they can, drain it, and move on. They have no need for a healthy national economy anymore — no need for roads, bridges, a thriving middle class or an educated and healthy population. They can drain an entire economy to a dry husk and then move on. Does that sound good to you?

    Hell, I'd want out too.

That reminds me, I may need to rake leaves tomorrow; it`s getting windy !
