    I doubt a parachute could stop a warp-one projectile but, I do remember seeing the leading edges of his helmet and arms glowing red. Yeah, he hit the ground before he went up in the balloon.

    Oh snap! When I was a kid I thought Star Trek was cool, so I got into math and science, only to discover later what "science fiction" truly meant. And now, Mr. Baumgartner shows me it's possible! Warp speed! Damn! I shouldn't have screwed around in college! I should have taken more STEM classes! Maybe for his next magic trick, Mr. Baumgartner will beam himself down from 24 miles up.

    Great point Joe. And we can 'scratch' all those booooring technical courses too! Who needs to study Great Circle Navigation and Inertial NAV systems when any BIMBO can get on tv and make several $mil$ a year?

    Light, sound, locomotive, speeding bullet. Whatever…

    Can you say so immersed in their own progressive AGENDA they fail to connect with the very REAL world all around them..?

    What a dolt. If her employers had any b@lls they'd shred her contract in front of her face and send her packing. Try making a mistake like that at any blue collar job and let me know how long it would take for your co-workers to let it go?

    Apparently so! Over the years Doug has made many a' keen observation regarding Leftist allowing Eco-think to cloud the old thought process?

    These alphabet netwerkz have been pampering these talking puppets far too long. I'll bet that only certain people within the studio are even permitted to speak to them directly.

    One of the guys down here on Base does stand up comedy and works as an extra/bit part actor in his FT career. He was in one of J-Lo's movies and an asst. sternly warned all the extras to never "make eye contact" with her!

    The guy s like 6' 7" so what's the first thing he DOES..? He said she was so miffed it wasn't funny. Diva's we expect this from!

    Wow… I was tired last night, after talking with my co-worker about the joy of working, and how getting a job done successfully is one of the greatest feelings a man can have.

    On Andrea here, apparently with her assessment, Felix went faster than the speed of light, but not faster than the speed of stupid.
