Filed Under Politics, World News | 11 Comments
If you happened to be in a coma yesterday or trapped under a refrigerator or something, the following ABC News headline says everything you need to know both nationally and internationally:

The information has definitely been transmitted to Vladimir:
Russian President Vladimir Putin has sent a congratulatory note to President Obama after his re-election Tuesday, his spokesman said. The Kremlin says it will make the text public after the Americans have received it.
Putin is also expected to call Obama personally “in the near future.”
“In general, the Kremlin took the news about Barack Obama’s victory in the elections very positively,” spokesman Dmitri Peskov said, according to the Interfax news agency.
“We have the hope that positive initiatives in bilateral relations and in Russian-U.S. interaction on the international arena in the interests of international security and stability will be developed and improved,” he added.

Obama has much more in common with Putin than he does with Netanyahu.
I'm sure Vladimir will take advantage of Obama's new 'flexibility' and … bend him over.
Obama is the first gay president. He wouldn't mind.
Still in shock; awash in disappointment !
My guess is Putin`s idea of security is in the form of that for Russia. I am under no illusions that WE will be secure ! Nor will Israel !

Why wouldn't they? Now they won't have to spend a dime to see we are destroyed.
It will be better than that for him; Zero will give him all he wants. It will be like Putin and our other enemies as well will be paid !
Europe, China, Iran and the other muslim countries are very pleased by the marxist-muslim`s re-election. Lots of Michael Moore-like lip smacking be hapnin` !
CNN.com reports:
Dow falls more than 300 points after Obama's re-election and new concerns about the global economy.
Yeah, this guy is great not only for the country but also for the world.
Microsoft’s question is more than apropos:
Where do you want to go today?
…And…
Where do you want to put your savings?

Rush just made a good point; Conservatism did not lose. It`s just that you cannot beat Santa Claus. Half the nation voted for Santa Claus because the alternative was to be your own Santa Claus !
Every Conservative is making pleas to refrain from civil disobedience to public displays of our disappointment but..?
It's not difficult for me to visualize people tithing 90-100% of their income to a church, and then claiming they are indigent! When gas breaks $7, how hard is it to imagine people abandoning their motor home along expressways en masse? Probably will happen anyway!
Many local municipalities have LAWS that you must do something w/ your leaves. You can't just blow it off. I think in some communities THEY will send someone out and then ship you a bill! What happens when you can't PAY it?
In my town, you pile your leaves along the curb (either in the street or in your yard next to the curb) and they will vacuum them up as they pass thru clearing all the gutters. It is incl. in your water bill.
For $26.25 a month (I never exceed the min. water usage, 3,000 gal.), I get water, sewer, weekly trash, recycling, leaf p/u, once a mo. appliance, furniture, junk and lawn litter (grass and tree limbs) p/u. I love small towns.
About those motorhomes; it may come to it that dropping the house and living in the m/h is more affordable. (They`re taxed at a lower rate as personal property, not real estate)
