Funny response by the New Jersey guv — I just wish Christie would have had the same reaction after being asked to be a pre-election photo-op prop for President Obama:

    Christie spent enough time saying he wasn`t going to be set up and answer Twinkie questions to have answered a couple q`s and a brief history of the snack cakes.

    Was his refusal as much to do with his own weight or the weight he places on his support of labor unions ?

    By this juncture, [no doubt] Team Progressive is [mis]interpreting this as an open INVITE to launch a "healthy alternatives" to "sugary snacks" lineup ( kids won't actually EAT ) to offer their own Ben & Jerry's (TM) Prog-approved 'product' roll out!

    Please view this for what it IS. Part of the Pre-Secession. Hostess will shut down ( long enough ) for the picket/Twitter fodder to die down and ramp up the assembly lines ( like Jolt-Cola ) with TWICE the sugar and NONE of the Union/Justin Bieber fawning LSM additives..!

    When kids ( and LEGIONS of adults ) STILL prefer Hostess (TM) offerings to Gov-approved grass-clipping filled roasted tree bark we'll get stuck for the subsidizing BILL the same way we pay for NPR. They'll be your only 'option' on that light rail from L.A to Whorehouse Harry's.

    With Christie, he never learned in kindergarten when to shut up. He just spent 44 seconds talking about what he wasn't going to talk about, when about 2 seconds would do.

    Other exciting questions that he would have probably dodged with a minute non-answer:

    "Governor, speaking of Twinks, did the President give you a reach-around when he was with you in private?"
    "A follow up question to the last one, since the American public doesn't get that, how did it feel?"
    "Did you give the president a foot rub too, prior to moving to the bedroom?"

    I now see why Ann Coulter likes him. Dick Morris too.

    Speaking of union strikes, I see that the SEIU is planning on a walkout at LAX on the day before Thanksgiving, you know the busiest travel day of the year.

    I also saw that workers at Walmart (that are being urged by union groups) are looking at walking out of stores around the LA area in the middle of Black Friday sales.

    Looks to me like the unions are feeling emboldened by Obama's victory and the fact that California voters voted to raise taxes.

    I think we all saw Romney as the best candidate we had (or the best the Est. Rs were gonna let us have) and infinitely better than Oblamo, but we feared he`d go all squishy once in office. To read that he actually WAS considering Christie as his VP was beyond disappointing and scary. We`d never get a leash on unions and creeping sharia laws. Then I saw him on the list of possibles for Pres. in 2016. Do the Big Rs NOT want to turn this country around ?

    The Professional Left ( of which my prog Sis is a charter member ) is already seizing on exactly that. They're busily "pre-excusing" every Obie misstep as something Romney would've more or less done anyway.

    So what your beef w/ P'BO? Riiiiight, if we couldn't squeak Mitt past the "War on Women" what chance would a real conservative like Rick or Michele have stood?

    Look for more platitudes and 'parallels' by the day…

    P'BO will create what Che` failed to do in "starting so many fires the white man will not be able to put them all out!" (para) as he races from one NLAGCGTW to the other, offering his "expertise" and healing powers to quell rebellions and restore 'order'.

    Since they sleep in the same bed Obie will be able to get them to beg off ( at the last minute/11th hour ) so Granny can come visit, but only after allowing it to fester for max news cycle exploitation..!
