The metallic purity of the family silver spoon is in question, because RFK Jr. somehow got lead poisoning from it long ago:

Robert F. Kennedy Jr told HuffPost Live host Josh Zepps in an interview Friday that he believes conservative media outlets such as Fox News are damaging the country.

Asked how he thought things have changed in the political landscape, Kennedy pointed to “big money” and “the right wing control of the American media, starting with Fox News” as hurtful to collaboration between differing political interests.

“Twenty-two percent of Americans say their primary news source is Fox News,” Kennedy told HuffPost Live. “It’s divided our country in a way that we haven’t been divided probably since the Civil War, and its empowered large corporations to get certain kinds of politicians and ideologues who are in the United State Congress elected — the Tea Party ideologues who control the Republican Party.”

Seventy-eight percent of Americans using CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, PBS and Current as their primary sources of television news is completely unacceptable — the media will not be truly balanced until 100 percent of Americans get their television news from CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, PBS and Current.

We have MSNBC hosts visiting the White House to offer policy advice to a president who was just re-elected, but Fox News is having too great an influence over American politics? That RFK Jr. is a funny guy. Well, when he doesn’t want to charge “climate change deniers” with treason he is anyway.

Isn't he some kin to the late Lying of the Senate?

    Ne … ne … nee ….. PHEWW !

One cable TV news org. that reaches and presumably influences 22% of Americans is TOO MUCH ! Gotta change that pesky 1st Amendment so FOXNews can be shut down !

How come when I disagree with the junque science that is used to confirm the global wealth redistribution hoax that is GoreBull Warming, I`m a denier and should be charged with TREASON, but when Obama and Shrillary, the Sec. of State, want to restrict our 1st Amendment Free Speech rights so islam won`t be insulted and when they also fund and arm those same muslims, who declared themselves our enemies and their desire to dominate the US and the world and institute global sharia law, O & S AREN`T guilty of treason ?

And wouldn't dad be proud! More oppressive re-defining of words. Treason now apparently has morphed into representing dissent of opinion, no matter how accurate, and articulate.

Like watermelons that BOLT out of their seat w/ alarm when you exhibit the audacity to challenge "Peak Oil". I always offer the same answer: "Are you denying Peak Oil?" Of COURSE not! ( Just that we aren't AT it..! )

So take me off your Christmas card list, putz. Here's their quandary. The right blogoshpere is expanding like your 'perspective" from previous ( rather clever btw ) but they can't DARE acknowledge it! It's probably more accurate to say, "of those that consider *television* their primary source of information, 22%…"

How does he feel about Twitter..?

  7. Marshall_Will on December 9th, 2012 2:54 am

Oh.., never even stopped to consider that distribution channel. I think this is where the whole just-a-blogger was born. MM rightly took exception to it, after all she'd worked in all the trad. ones since internship. I suspect an evil Doug knows well too.

Post-debacle, they're sensing ( and reading ) Conservatives are largely dissatisfied w/ Fox. In my case, I haven't watched in a month! Can't speak for others but from the '10 mids on, it was nearly all cringworthy content. The GOP is BACK..!

All while diminishing or outright DISMISSING the Tea Party contribution to making it happen in the FIRST place? So they know FN is more than vulnerable. I couldn't watch another MINUTE of Bill O beside himself w/ grief over the prospect of low hanging bammie fruit going bye-bye…

What really drives him, and other libs, nuts is how Fox News is always at the top of the ratings. Of course they never stop to realize that when you have one network that tilts more to the right and all the others have toppled over to the left you will have lopsided ratings.

  9. Truesoldier__ on December 10th, 2012 1:36 pm

Have you noticed how the left is trying harder and harder to silence critics? Recently we have seen libs wanting anyone who signed those succesion petitions be deported and stripped of their citizenship and Kennedy, as well as others, calling for treason charges against anyone who disagrees with the man made global warming/climate change agenda.

With all the crazy going on right now it makes you wonder if the Myan's "end of the world" prediction was really letting us know that America was going to end as we know it come the end of the year.

"…….Fox News is always at the top of the ratings." I know that really bugs the left; they can`t get on top to save them and it doesn`t occur to them "WHY" ! What bugs me about FOX at the top is "Who`s show" is always at the top – Bill O`Really ?! I just don`t understand the Billy O fan !

  11. SignPainterGuy on December 10th, 2012 3:32 pm

Point well taken. The libs are wacked !

I personally believe the Mayan Calendar just ran out of time, space, chisels, stone ….. Maybe it`s Vol. 1 with Vol. 2 yet to be found …. ?

Keep in mind that GOD said, "No one knows the time of HIS coming …" SO, even if the MC is accurate in predicting an end-time ish event, it will NOT be the Second Coming of Christ !

  12. backwoodsconsr on December 10th, 2012 5:14 pm

Someone at Hot Air commented that the Mayans couldn't predict that the Spanish were going to kick their butts, and we're supposed to believe them about the end of the world?

  13. SignPainterGuy on December 10th, 2012 7:45 pm

Good point ! That`s similar to the undoing of the TV fortune tellers / psychics; why aren`t they rich from winning all the lotteries if they`re so good ?
