Who knew?
In all fairness, the woman does look like she was probably planning to eat them.

She`s been watching the "Toy Story Trilogy"; she has Mr. Potato Head`s "Angry Eyes" !
In other "I-Phone" news, from The Blaze, a Mom tells her Son that his new I-Phone is "Hers". She bought it, she pays for it, she`s "loaning" it to him, …… Good Mom !
Not to worry, Obama Phones will soon be a constitutional right just as soon as the dims get the Rs to cave a couple more times.
Lol, evidently the store was out of Mountain Dew and dungeness crab!
It's part of the "Good 'n Plenty" clause…
Look it up! http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/bloggers/248132…
These, and other stories are why we should eliminate welfare.
Since the 1930's, the number of good people in this country willing to help out those less fortunate has gone down, because the guvmint will help them, and give them a pass on Judgement Day.
That is the pure evil of government welfare: The lessening of peoples' charity and taking care of others.
I still give to those I know, but Chris Christie has made me never, ever want to visit or help those in New Jersey. His "you owe me" stance is why he'll be a Democrat within 5 years. You can take that to Ann Coulter.
Well considering that Boehner was just re-elected as speaker it will probably happen sooner rather than later.
Ppfffft, you can eat anytime; she needed that phone NOW !!
No kidding. I am not fan of Boehner, but stopping the bill was actually a Conservative move. Let's say for agument sake we even agree to pay for all the damages that the hurricane wrought on NJ/NY, the total came to $20 billion (roughly). The bill was for $60 billion, so there was $40 billion in pork. Not to mention, what ever happened to personal responsibility? You live along a coast line you ought to get flood insurance. Other than that, ask for charitable help from your local community, church, etc, but stop relying on the taxpayers as an ATM anytime anything goes wrong in your life.
My guess is she didn't think they were foodstamps she thought they were Obama Bucks from the Obama Stash.
…and thus ended any chance of me calling myself a Republican for the foreseeable future.
It'll happen here too.
What? I live in Washington, and we don't expect that much rain here. YOU in Texas OWE ME TO BE MADE WHOLE!
Aren`t I-Phones "food for the mind" ?
OK, it`s OFFICIAL ! We are living in the left`s Alternate Universe !
But of course. It isnt so much which state you live in, it is more about whether you are in a Blue state or a Red state. Remember Katrina? Alabama (red state) and Mississippi (red state) got hit far worse than Louisiana did, but the majority of aid went to Louisiana (blue state)
I agree with you there. I have a feeling that this could be the final straw that leads to the creation of a Conservative party as we watch the Repulicans go the way of the whigs.
Following the updates on HA was confusing and frustrating. The notion someone had to directly 'replace' Boehner just ridiculous. Irresponsible people incapable of conducting themselves like adults get FIRED all the time!
They could have always designated a Speaker in the immediate future. JB will all but assure a Dim-controlled House in 2014.
My MS-resident Sister stresses that point often !
Yes, and with all these "food deserts", look for them to become standard 'hood-issue!
That`s my fear.
The "Tearful One" claims he is thru dealing "One-on-One" with Obama; will Weepy now just use the equivalent of an Auto-Pen to rubber stamp Obama`s agenda ?
Right, like the year Seattle didn't get a summer! I swear it was '97. It rained up to and THRU mid-August ( stopped briefly to Labor Day ) and resumed immediately thereafter.
Sure, the Mariners had a dome, but taking the kids to all those covered games should be considered, traumatic, right?
SPG,
Mrs. Will's aunt worked at the Beau Rivage in Biloxi. Her house was ruined, she lost her job and her life hasn't gotten back on track SINCE. I know she sends her aunt $ from time to time and pretending not to 'notice' is what makes for a marriage I suppose?
Yet many times I'll say it's Thelma on the caller ID and she'll tell me to let it go to voice mail. It's a mess…
While at Sis`s for Christmas (She loved the Andy Williams CD, btw), she had her Blackberry smokin`, her two Sons and DinL were glued to their I-Phones, the two older Grand kids (6 and 9) were entranced by games on I-Phones, Kindles and I-Pads while the 3 yr old was screaming "Turn the video on NOW !!!" on an I-Pad. My BinL and I were the only ones NOT using personal electronic devices. We DID however keep the dvd player hot !
The consequences are already billowing in like noxious FUMES. Hot Air notes "The New IRS Withholding Tables are IN!"
Freaking great. I hate to complain in front of people that still have school-aged children at home, but even in a [formerly] 'comfortable' bracket as empty nesters, there's very little of what you could call discretionary income?
Higher power, food and fuel bills don't allow for much and we've back burnered countless trips and visits over the last several years. And the economy SHOWS it.
I have been a registered R for years only because it allows me to vote in state primaries. NC`s election laws make it VERY difficult for a new party to get on a ballot (R,D and L now), but as soon as a "conservative" party DOES, I`m switching !
O/T…"Eco-friendly" lights (you know the curly que ones) may cause skin cancer….
Money saving, compact fluorescent light bulbs emit high levels of ultra violet radiation, according to a new study. Research at Long Island’s Stony Brook found that the bulbs emit rays so strong that they can actually burn skin and skin cells.
“The results were that you could actually initiate cell death,” said Marcia Simon, a Professor of Dermatology.
Exposure to the bulbs could lead to premature aging and skin cancer, according to doctors.
“It can also cause skin cancer in the deadliest for, and that’s melanoma,” said Dr. Rebecca Tung.
In every bulb that researchers tested they found that the protective coating around the light creating ‘phosphor’ was cracked, allowing dangerous ultraviolet rays to escape.

Well he already proved it to be true….he let McConnel deal with Biden for the cliff deal, so technically he didn't cut a deal with Obama.
Got to watch the Potomac double speak very closely.
And Obama has said " raised taxes, but the rich still aren’t paying their fair share", oh gee what a surprise.
http://washingtonexaminer.com/obama-we-raised-tax…
I`ve always had a funny feeling about those screwy bulbs, probably just because a bunch of leftists are the ones trying to force me to use them, as much as anything else, but there has been a sense of trepidation about them.
I have used the straight Fl. tubes, shop lights, most all my life. I had to wonder why the "new" fear of breaking the little screwy bulbs while there has never been an out-cry against the long tubes; they are in fact the same things, just larger !
I`m curious about that "cracked coating" statement. The phosphorous is powder. How does a loose powder coating "crack" ? Break one; you`ll see a cloud of white powder !
Proof that it`s never enough and it really isn`t about what the left says it is !
I could be mistaking, but I believe the cfl's are coated with a spray on phosphorus as opposed to the powder used in the tubes.
Perhaps this is the left;s plan to fix social security and medicare. If we all die young, then no more problem.
Aaah, that WOULD explain it; the lack of any warning of the powder dangers in favor of the dangers from the mercury, PLUS, the feelings / suspicions we all share toward the hidden agendas of leftists !
Well, 'technically'. Sheriff Joe has buy a vowel every spin. More likely, the deal cut w/ the Rich had more to do w/ ensuring the MIDDLE CLASS was shackled w/ THEIR fair share before O'Drama darkened their door for a DIME.
Again, anything to be a fly on the wall but housing bubble bloggers are unanimous in our appraisal that Mega Banks sold the Gov. that thru home equity loans and 2nd mortgages etc. that the American public GOT their 'advance' and value for dollar and are now simply being asked to REPAY that via the bailaouts!
"Would we BE in this position Mr. President ( Boosh OR O'Drama ) had all these borrowers not PUT us there!?"
Totally agree with you on this. Until Americans and politicians get it through their skulls that you have to live within your means we are screwed as a nation.
Even if they finally wake up to that reality we are still looking at some tough roads ahead trying to pay off what we owe and sending the public through rehab to get them off their addiction to the government teat.
In some ways it is good that it is hard to get more parties on the ballot and you have to be registered to vote in that party's primaries (though I think it should be the parties footing the bill for the primary not the taxpayer). Here in WA ST we have an open top two primary where the top two candidates move onto the general election. Anyone who can muster the signatures and pay the registration fee can get on the ballot and they get to choose whatever party title they want. This has lead to some pretty confusing races for some offices. You have ultra lib spoilers who call themselves Republicans, you have all sorts of made up party names, I have even seen where the Dems ran some guy they found that had the same name as the Republican in the race just to confuse voters and siphon votes.
Libertarian… Green Party ( usually runs lezzie's ) PACIFIC Green Party..!? Anything to throw a roadblock/diversion up. Hadn't heard about the identical name ploy though?
Spoilers abound and we've even had our Marion County GOP voter database hacked. Of course, like Google's founder moving $'s offshore saying "It's called capitalism!" Dim's view these underhanded tactics as "just politics..?"
TS, we began discussing The Moral Hazard to END all Moral Hazards as early as 2004… '05'ish. The "implicit taxpayer guarantee" on Phony & Fraudie created the very license they needed to rubber stamp loans to anyone that could fog a mirror.
They figured, Stick THAT up your CRA.!? This is why the now infamous "credit default swaps" were born. As evidenced, a tad late…
Early versions warned homeowners to use a respirator when sweeping up the accidentally broken bulbs. Wow, what could possibly go wrong? Doesn't every 80 y.o have a dust mask handy!
Got the "Oregon Energy Trust" bulbs and couldn't GIVE away the cfl's. So there they sit. Can't even use them in the chandelier because they only stick out about 2" above the decorative glass.
After screwing the bulb in I took a step back and thought, Mrs. Will is NEVER gonna' let that fly in HER house!? Unless they're heavily concealed by a full lamp shade they look like something you'd expect from a $14 a night hotel room. Weekly Rates, see mgr.
One of the mid-west states`s dems, MI, WI or MN ran the spoiler attempt in `10 or `12, an "R" who was really a dem. Don`t remember the name though.
Yeah, Sis has both. I really don`t like the light of either, even if they do save energy. The ones that are round, more like a reg. incandescent, but with a larger plastic base, she has in some lamps and one in her bathroom. They come on dim after a short delay, stay dim for over a minute before brightening up. It was fine for that trip to the toilet in the night when a night light would be enough, but for the paperwork or showering, it`s not up to snuff.
Don`t use the Chinese made CFLs in light fixtures with rheostats (adjustable brightness switches), they will cause overheating in the wall switch and can cause fires.
Here you go fellas, take your pick.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_political_pa…
Seriously? Well then just reach for that Made In China fire extinguisher!
Isn't the simple fact so many people are refusing to get onboard w/ these proof enough the wheels are coming off the green/progressive bandwagon? I mean they can't even get everyday Americans to buy into it and the prog's I still have to associate with do a TERRIBLE job of 'selling' me on them.
As in ( they no longer believe in it/this/the whole program any more either! ) If they were that awesome reg. bulbs would've been stacked deep and selling cheap long before this? Just more examples of a once well intentioned movement that's been ditched by the wayside. Really doesn't matter now that electricity rates are thru the roof!
Just like it will be fun watching all these Electric Car liberals here in WA ST go nuts when they get their car registration renewal forms this year with the $100 Electric Vehicle fee taked onto the bill.
