Nobody plays goalie for the Obama administration like NBC’s David Gregory. This morning, Gregory was performing in his usual role as a hack for the administration, this time regarding the Benghazi attack, and John McCain called him on it:

During a heated exchange about the attack on our consulate in Benghazi, Libya, last year, McCain said to his Meet the Press host, “Do you care whether four Americans died?”

Funny that a politician is asking a “journalist” the very question that Gregory should be asking his guests.

There are many, many unanswered questions about Benghazi, and anybody not interested in those answers isn’t qualified to be called a political journalist. To me it looks like David Gregory gave up on that long ago and is now just trying to get a job as Obama’s next press secretary when Jay Carney leaves:

Why should Barry ever need Reggie again when he has David Greggory ?

    Seriously.

Okay Doug, I'm a sport.., we still don't have 'answers' from Fast & Furious, uh… Solyndra and about a half dozen OTHER frauds and deceptions! What makes us think we're going to get straight answers and coherent explanations on Benghazi?

Classic Bammie-spin. Stall, stonewall and feign indignance over our being [frankly] miffed over the wholly unsatisfactory non-explanation 'explanations' were given and then unleash the sycophants to quell dissent! They've now got their dog & pony down to a fine science.

Isn't Gregory slightly 'curious' as to why we haven't been able to interview any of the other Benghazi survivors/evacuees? Oh.., those are just the demands of rightwinger nutjobs like Breitbart.com, Fox, WND etc. so I guess they're inconsequential?

Maybe David Gregory has a plan of using his current position to become President Obama’s next press secretary. But it's a guess.

And to think that one of the more liberal GOP senators had to pose that question to Gregory!!!

    Doug,

I think you have it wrong who was interviewing to be Obama's press secretary. McCain goes all conservative when he wants to keep/a new job. Well, last time he wanted a new job he almost went conservative, but then had her go to the back of the bus.

No kidding. Our side ought to take a page from the libs playbook and everytime one of these GOP Senators/Congressmen make an appearance on a Sunday show they should bring the father of one of the fallen SEALs on with them to confront the reporters and demand answers. Do the same with family members that were victims of F&F and on and on.

It`s so disgusting; McShame, Grahamnesty, other "asst. dems" seem able to develop a fire in their bellies ONLY when they have Rs to hammer !

Of course this is no surprise as we had conformation awhile back of the coordination between Media Matters, the press and dear leaders administration. We even had the NYT admit that dear leader's people had the final veto authority on all articles regarding dear leader.

The idea of the MSM wonders why their viewership/readership is down; yet they fail to see the obvious….that the ideals of our Founding Father's of having a free press to keep the public informed without the control of the government is people (even today) long for in their hearts and soul.

McCain does have those rare moments like he did during this interview. I will say the best line had to be "We have 2 movies about killing Bin Laden, but we still don't know who was evacuated from the consulate that night".

Or as Ben Shapiro would say; "Reversing the polarity on the conversation".

Last night I caught a bit of Hannity's "Saving America" w/ Ben Carson and it looks like Sean finally got the memo. Hammering away relentlessly on the same.tired.talking.points gets exactly what many of us said it would. Namely a 2nd term…

The negative synergy is 'something' isn't it. They're caught in this negative feedback loop of their own making. The more slant they show, the more base they LOSE. Then the O'stration gives the little whiners a pep talk and tells them doubling down is their answer.

As we've said in the past, there's no longer any need for all these redundant 'news' outlets all spewing the same blind praise. The admin. could ditch HALF of them and there'd still be too many. That's the other part of the neg. FBL, now they're forced to be the most obedient if they want to survive.

2012 changed everything. Thank GOD for Sandy huh Chris?
