Another festival of double standards at Wednesday’s press conference with Obama’s spokesliar Jay Carney:

If a reporter would have told Carney that a Republican was refusing to pay for Sandra Fluke’s birth control pills, the response would have been totally different.

    What I take away from this is;

Obama and the dems never focus where they should or even where they say they are
    It`s always a diversion
Obama`s "focus" is rather "UN-focused", like a really cheap flashlight with a very weak battery. Maybe the bulb is burned out ?
    Wash, rinse, repeat

I can't say I blame them for doing that. If they didn't keep up the smoke and mirrors act and even more Americans became aware of what was really going on (and even some of the illegal's who vote) there would be a hell to pay.

It's quite funny how Dear Leader will not wade into this when he is very willing to wade into the fray when it came to the Zimmerman case or when he claimed the Cambridge police acted stupidly even though he didn't have all the facts.

The spokesliar also went on about "phony scandals", naming both the IRS scandal and Benghazi as such.

I would love to see him tell the parents of those who lost their life in Benghazi that it is a phony scandal and see what happens to him. As for the IRS scandal he had this to say:

"What some in Congress have failed to do despite many attempts is to provide any evidence — because there is none — that that activity was in any way known by, or directed by, the White House, or was even partisan or political."

Of course he is saying this as the scandal grows to include the FEC now:

"What some in Congress have failed to do despite many attempts is to provide any evidence — because there is none — that that activity was in any way known by, or directed by, the White House, or was even partisan or political."

There does seem to be less evidence (so far) of WH collusion before the story broke, but plenty afterward; like the numerous meetings with IRS officials at the WH just a day or just a few days before statements are released. Also funny that it is being called "phony" now, but Barry has already apologized for the scandals. So he apologizes for phony scandals ?

    Ponzi scheme, indeed !

The main accomplishment is the transfer of money from one pocket to someone else`s.

Obama is focused on the economy! Screw the middle class! The women too!

  9. jeffythequick on August 1st, 2013 6:04 pm

Is Spitzer/Weiner/Filner/Kennedy/Jesse Jackson/Al Sharpton/Bill Clinton the new spokesman for Obama?

    I'm groping for an answer…

Will Jay Carney Barker forever be tarnished by his time as the pResident's mouthpiece? I would think most folks who have followed his "stellar" career would consider it so. Not that I really care.

"Barry has already apologized for the scandals." Excellent point, SPG!

And I am getting the feeling that this whole shutting down the embassies in the middle east because of a "credible" threat is a something like "wag the dog" situation. The Benghazi info seems to be trickling out and taking the focus off of that "phoney" scandal by showing they are going to be vigilant about terrorism just seems off to me.

  14. SignPainterGuy on August 2nd, 2013 7:17 pm

It does make you wonder ! I wonder what intel we have to make them actually close embassies in all muslim countries. The anniversary of 9-11 in 2012 wasn`t reason enough. Ramadan is over, isn`t it, so what`s so special about August to muslims ?

    Wag the Dog, hmmmm …..

Considering the LSM is in the bag for dear leader this is just a resume enhancer for Carney.

  16. Truesoldier__ on August 3rd, 2013 9:30 am

And now I see just why Carney had to call Benghazi a phony scandal..CNN (Jake Tapper) is now reporting that it was indeed a weapon smuggling deal sending SAM's to Syrian "Rebels" through Turkey and that is what we all figured for some time now:

  17. Truesoldier__ on August 3rd, 2013 9:32 am

And to add to that…Dear Leader is changing the names (or creating aliases) of the survivors of the attack,
    http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2013/08/breaking-

But remember, this is a phony scandal.

  18. Truesoldier__ on August 3rd, 2013 9:33 am

It could be more of Dear Leader's narcissism poking through:

Sunday is President Barack Obama's 52nd birthday
