One in custody, one to go.

Background for those not familiar with the disgusting story:

An 88-year-old veteran of World War II was beaten to death outside the Eagles Lodge in Spokane, police say, and authorities are seeking two young males in the incident.

Friends identified the victim as Delbert Belton, and say he was sitting outside the lodge when he was attacked. No motive was offered.
Police say they received a call about an assault at 8:15 p.m. Wednesday and responded to find the victim sitting in his car with serious head injuries. The victim was taken to a hospital, and died Thursday morning.

Authorities are looking for two African American males of average build between the ages of 16 and 19 caught on video.

One of the attackers has been arrested, meaning the other probably won’t be far behind.

So when is Jamie Foxx going to wear an “I am Delbert” shirt at an awards show?

Obama is expected to issue a racially-charged statement expressing outrage at the murders of both Belton and Chris Lane… never.

Not a peep from Spike Lee either. Racism is taught. A lot of bigoted celebrities.

Need to get some of those t-shirts " I am Chris Lane" and " I am Delbert Belton" .

More likely: Obama will remind everyone not to make racially charged statements about the alleged murderers since they had a hard upbringing. If anyone fails to get the message, Eric Holder will be dispatched to prosecute the "haters".

Nor will he lament the tragic loss of Vanessa Pham at the hands of a drug crazed illegal turd who missed his deportation bus.

But the mind numbing Lane slaying has indeed been addressed by the Dean of Dopey Demagoguery himself. Ol' Weird Al says "he is not protesting because the killing was not racial and “the system worked.” No. Really.

Serling's Twilight Zone was nothing compared to the new dimension we're spiraling into. Farewell reason and reality, we barely knew ye.

I agree with ChapBix that Obama will probably remind everyoane not to make racially statements about the murderers but still…poor old man.

In the collective dumbed-down mind of the marxist black mob, this is another example of "justice foh Trayvon" … you can bet there are even semi-edumacated blacks, e.g., Jamie Foxx, with IQs just above room temp (but still in the double-digits), who are secretly pleased about this. Gotta show whitey what vengeance is.

Dear Leader will continue to remain silent and send out a memo to his media lapdogs to make these stories go away. As for Chris Lane, the fall out has already began with Australia as their government has called on the Australian people to boycott the US do to the lack of any mention by Dear Leader especially in light of Dear Leader speaking out so much over Trayvon Martin.

When it comes to Delbert, look for the VFW, Amvets, American Legion, etc to come out and condemn Dear Leader for ignoring a great American. The vet organizations tend to stay neutral when it comes to politics as they prefer to not get caught up in retribution politics for supporting one side or another. They feel their mission of lobbying on behalf of vets could be hampered by a political stand. This may just be the one thing that changes all that.

I remember, after reading this, about my first trial case as a startup lawyer … It was a similar case of batter and abuse against an old man, also a veteran… I felt just as sorry then for the victim as I feel now, and after all these years as a trial lawyer, I still can't believe there are people who do this kind of things,….

What is the society becoming??? Such acts of violence make me be more and more afraid for me and my family… We actually decided that getting home defense products is a very good idea, and this is coming from a family of people who are totally anti-violence.. But our child's safety is more important then anything else!

In the last couple of year, just I have said before, the rate of crime has risen more then we could have imagined… I work in a medical recovery clinic and we have more and more patients coming to us with fractures after being beaten by all kind of young people for no apparent reason. we even created a special section for the more frequent injuries… We bought a lot of stuff from… and this actually improved the recovery rate of many people, but the risk of them coming back to us seams higher and higher by the day…

This is great news! Another criminal off the streets is always awesome news! It cuts down a bit on the number of people who make us be afraid for the safety of our homes and families… Although I'm still very angry with the fact that police doesn't always put as much effort into looking for a villain as they seem to have done now! A couple of months ago, right before I bought the first self-defense weapons, my house was vandalized and the cops still have no news on that… I started taking things very serious since then.. So, if anyone needs any info on self-defense products or if you're looking to buy a gun cleaner or anything else related to your own safety, just ask as I've read tons on the subject!

People's safety should always come first! The authorities should be much more careful with night street security, with the way and to whom weapon permits are emitted and many other security issues. This kind of situations could be avoided in the future if only more policemen would be out on the streets at night, if gun owners would visit and insure that, in care their gun are stolen, the thief can't use it and, most important, the authorities should hold as often as possible meeting where people are educated on self-defense.
