Many of the people interviewed here say they voted for Obama, so it’s hard to feel sorry for them, but at the same time it’s amazing to watch expectations in 2008 vs. realities in 2013:

Students at Bowie State University assailed the Affordable Care Act (ACA) on Thursday after administrators cancelled a low cost school-wide health care plan due to new regulations in the law.

Many students told Campus Reform that the now cancelled plans, which provided coverage for just $50 per semester, were the only insurance they could afford.

Unfortunately, we’re all getting what only the ones who voted for Obama (and Pelosi, and Reid, etc) deserved.

Even though they’re complaining about this, the next politician who comes along and promises to make their health care cheaper and make jobs more plentiful and higher paying will without a doubt earn their enthusiastic support. Some never seem to learn, which is part of the reason the country has such massive problems.

But Doug, those $50 bucks a semester plans were JUNK plans! Too funny. Loved MM's "Brosurance to Hosurance to Nosurance". If the shoe fits..?

Yeah kids, if $16.67 a mo. was cramping your lifestyle, wait till a MIN. of $250 kicks in!

Just signed up for the Guard men's hockey team, and they make you get a policy that covers in the [likely] event us old timers will get injured on the ice. At $45 bucks for the season I'll just have to spend the rest of my life at the ice rink and I'm covered. Game ON!

Oh yeah, I love the "junk plans" excuse. Sure seems like a lot of people liked their "junk," but Obama's people just think they're too stupid to know better.

Can't believe your $45 policy for hockey is still legal. It must be so obscure the Obamacare architects forgot to outlaw it.

"It must be so obscure the Obamacare architects forgot to outlaw it."

Ha! Lol, we should organize an open skate/pick-up game so jam up & jelly tight no one can actually MOVE! Sounds like a great James O'Keefe vid.

"And WHY are you here sir?" This could prove an absolute boom for ice rinks all across Obamaland…

What gets me about the "junk plans" excuse is that the Admin insults the American people calling them stupid enough to fall for a "junk plan" and there are still nearly 40% of the public that supports it.

Right, they're describing perfectly acceptable plans in the same terms as those automotive repair 'coverage' policies that blanketed the airwaves a few years ago. You know, the ones just about every AG in the country ran out of town?

Guys, the Insurance Industry is -the- most highly regulated in the nation. Even more so than aviation. They have top notch actuarial underwriters that torture data, running Monte Carlo simulations to see if it is even *advisable* to offer a particular policy!

They don't just throw those things out there like honeymooners at a drive-thru wedding in Vegas. The policies are tested against Black Swan scenarios like Bhopal, Love Canal, SARS outbreaks etc. Oh, and still manage to show shareholders a PROFIT? Big Gov. saw what they thought was just a "skimming operation". Hey, ANYBODY could do this!?

No kidding. What I would love to see is a "man on the street" Hannity edition where they go out and interview gay men and ask them if they feel they should have to pay extra for maternity coverage on their health insurance policy.

Excellent point. Especially given this is the very demographic their whole charade was AIMED at! In [hopelessly Blue] Portland, the joke among restaurant goers went "What's the only thing harder to find in Portland than a parking place? ( A straight waiter..! )"

So Dim's saw this swath of voters they could appeal to at [supposedly] no cost of acquisition! Typically they are casual, high turnover/seasonal employees with no advanced job skills. Barbara Ehrenreich beat this talking point silly in "Nickeled & Dimed". So Prog trolls can take it up w/ her.

It's the inverse of taxpayers getting stuck w/ the bill for s_x change operations for public employees. How's that 'feel' fellas?

Feel sorry for them? Heck, I enjoy asking them how they like taking it up the ole poop shoot…

And the hits just keep coming.

It is a disorder of metabolism or can be called the way that body uses the food for energy. The starch, sugar and carbohydrates are broken down into glucose. The hormone insulin helps in absorbing the glucose and utilizes it for energy. Diabetes occurs when the body fails to form the insulin. – Diabetes Treatment
