On Thursday, Laura Ingraham spoke with President Obama’s half-brother, Mark Obama Ndesandjo. During the segment, Ingraham played a clip of President Obama saying he met this particular brother for about five minutes, on one recent occasion. Then Ingraham interviewed the brother.

It might shock you to discover that President Obama might have lied about that:

Mark Obama Ndesandjo said he was surprised to hear his half-brother President Barack Obama say they had only recently met for the first time.

“I was floored by it — I don’t know why he said it,” Ndesandjo said to Laura Ingraham, adding that he had met the president several times over the years and still isn’t sure what his motivation was for making the claim. “I think he was being president and was not being my brother,” Ndesandjo said.

From their first meeting, which took place in the 1980s in Kenya, where he lived as an American ex-pat, Ndesandjo? said both he and the president had different views: Ndesandjo was trying to distance himself from his father and his father’s name, while Obama was looking to further embrace his father’s roots.

President Obama is only his “brother’s keeper” in a metaphoric, redistributionist sense.

So either President Obama is lying, his half-brother is lying, or one of them simply has a bad memory. For now I’ll go out on a limb and say the one who is lying is the same one who said “if you like your plan you can keep your plan.” Why Obama would lie about this I have no idea. Maybe he just can’t help it.

    "Why Obama would lie about this I have no idea."

    Seems pretty simple to me. Just look at this one statement from the article;

    both he and the president had different views: Ndesandjo was trying to distance himself from his father and his father’s name, while Obama was looking to further embrace his father’s roots.

    Sounds to me like Dear Leader looks at his half brother as having more akin with the opposition than himself.

    What DL meant to imply is that He has *thought* about his half-brother a total of about [5] minutes over the course of His life. It is after all, what He 'thinks' that is reality.

    What's interesting here ( assuming the U.S 'survives' in any recognizable form ) is once O'Drama LEAVES office, it is these very relationships they've been desperately trying to sweep under the carpet he'll be *focusing* on!

    It will build his U.N cred's immeasurably. All of a sudden they'll have eaten tiger meat together and played with sticks and rocks on the river bank while they were supposed to be studying the Koran.
