Well, Michelle Obama is off on another trip with her mother and the kids — this time to China.

The given reason FLOTUS is taking her mother and the kids, which is sure to add considerably to the price tag, is quite the piece of comedy coming from the First Lady’s office:

The White House is defending the first lady bringing her family along for the ride by saying it’s what the Chinese would want. “Tina Tchen, Mrs. Obama‚Äôs chief of staff and a first-generation Chinese-American, said a multigenerational visit would be appreciated by the Chinese, who value tradition,” says the Times.

Apparently FLOTUS is also trying to respect the Chinese tradition of not allowing reporters to cover what she’s doing. Ah “transparency.”

Hopefully she doesn’t insist on helping make their school lunches shitty and trigger an international incident.

Come on. It's just another vacation for the queen and her family. She has to get as much sightseeing in as possible before 2017. That's when she supposedly will be spending her own dime to travel minus the comfort of a taxpayer provided 747.
