Last week, Nancy Pelosi showed signs she’s weary of talk about “Benghazi Benghazi Benghazi.”

On The Five yesterday, Bob Beckel picked up where Pelosi left off when he parroted Hillary Clinton about Benghazi in responding to GOP investigations: “What difference does it make?”

Response: “Because they covered it up, Bob.”

Beckel: “So what?”

This is what the Obama defenders are reduced to:

Get that? Beckel admits there was a cover-up but says Republicans shouldn’t investigate because they don’t really care about the cover-up part or justice for the victims — they just want to bring down Obama.

At least somebody on the Left is admitting there’s much more to the story than Obama’s flacks are letting on. Baby steps.

The libs are really flipping out now, and as the old saying goes, when the flak gets heavy, you know you’re over the target.

The more the Benghazi scandal grows the more desperate the dems get in trying to make it go away. The more this happens the more we will see slips in the talking points, like Beckel's 'so what' comment.

Further.., in ways, Dim's have a point. This is hardly 'just' about an ambassador and his security detail left to swing in the breeze. But this really is, more projection on their part.

As Doug has often pointed out, elitist Dim's pretending to 'care' about an illiterate Afghan goat herder's well being and freedom to select the oppressor of their choice by placing a stone in a woven basket! Poor dears can hardly sleep.

Let's ask ourselves.., what had there been [NO] casualties..! Would this still be the "faux issue" we're making of it..!? Damn skippy. The lack of [filled] body bags STILL represents an egregious lack of judgment, moral character and SPINE.

We need to start considering couching the scenario to them in those terms. Of COURSE we're outraged by the loss of American lives. ANY lives since this has all proven not only unnecessary, but proof of more "controlled chaos"* they only sought to exploit an advantage they aren't open to discussing?. Oh and uh.., WHERE are the survivors again?

    * Tonkin Gulf 'Incident', Bombing of the Maine etc…

It truly is a case of the cover up being worse than the crime. If Dear Leaders admin had admitted their was an attack on US soil(i.e. the Consulate) on Sept 11th it would have been a lot less damaging in the long run.

I would like to propose this to the Dim's…. Bring all the loved ones of the four dead Americans to DC and put them on a stage in an arena big enough for all of the Dims, including Jay Carney and Nancy Pelousy, who are saying this is no big deal and make them – one by one – walk up to a microphone just feet away, look those loved ones in the eye, and tell them, we don't give a sh!t what happened to your sons and brothers and broadcast it on live TV, during prime time at 8 pm on CBS, ABC and NBC. I think the uninformed voters should get a little education in just how much these Dims love them.

The Democrats should be afraid… Very afraid.

Is Trey Gowdy preparing to pounce?

Pushing on it from the 180. If not for Dim's guise of "standing up for the little guy", being 'compassionate' above all else ( they'd have been asserting Cons. didn't care about the victims on Sept. *12th*!

Faux compassion will bite you in the azz every time…
