Yesterday I ran across this and have been laughing at it for nearly 24 hours.

I guess she doesn't realize just what countries won the war. If it were not for the US's "unfettered capitalism" being able to quickly convert our factories into a massive war production line we may very well all be speaking German now.

Not to mention, last I checked Communism hasn't had a very good track record to point to.

Knowledge is limited. Ignorance is boundless.

It's just such a gooblydeegok out there isn't it?

You've got "Snopes" out there and any number of "fact checker" websites and they *all* are selective in what they 'debunk' and they're out there in front of young people 24/7!

Firstly, Fran Barlow needs to be FIRED. F-i-r-e-d. Period. NG didn't just 'collapse' either GF. It.Was.Defeated. Sheesh, we only have a handful of years left before a tipping point is reached where there's no online resources ( that haven't been infiltrated ) and all is lost.

I must be getting dyslexic. When I first saw your comment I thought it said she should be FRIED. Her brain already is.

    Fried works..?

Um, everyone else on the planet that draws a paycheck has constraints, policies and protocols for interfacing w/ social media. I can't for instance ( as much as I'd like to ) make blog posts or disparaging remarks about our CiC.

Gov. employees aren't supposed to be reading or posting on blogs during the work day. Although I'm pretty sure it's commonplace. In fact, if strictly ( as is the case w/ our immigration laws, enforced at all ) Leftist blogs would fall off the radar entirely.

Gov. computers shouldn't even HAVE access other than the sites [that] employee NEEDS to function. Everything else should be BLOCKED.

Fran gets ALL here news from her cell phone!

I got a good laugh out of the "blood lust". too, Mr. Powers.

So Fran…would you consider the Obamacare mandate that we all pay for everyone's abortion a capitalistic blood lust?

    Just wondered.

  7. Marshall_Will on May 9th, 2014 8:20 pm

    Oh-uh… GOLDEN!

Whether it's re-writing history textbooks or funnyman Ezra Klein's "Vox" interpreting the 'news' for younger voters, the Professional Left is all about getting the word out!

As long as THEY control the content, context and narrative. Otherwise it's H8 radio/blud lust etc. Notice how when it comes to dimmocratic support, everyone, even those that aren't of voting age ( nor U.S citizens ) are in the room?

During the insanity leading up to the 2010 mid's anarchist Steve Lehman ( national mortgage strike anyone? ) even offered, since every global citizen was 'affected' by U.S policy.., why shouldn't they be allowed to vote in our elections!? The Unborn don't count.

    "Unfettered"?

More like crony-capitalism-married-to-tyranny, at least temporarily.

This combo has returned many times since, i.e. the vile regime in this country today

Nice catch! Then again, FB managed to cram so many inaccuracies and disinformation into [a] single Tweet, it's hard to know where to start?

As numerous MM posters have noted, Hitler and every Third Reich mbr. would be very PLEASED to see just how adept this administration has been at manipulating and expropriating the former untameable giant known as the greatest economy is the world.

At the end of the day, micro-managing and regulating their hand-picked Winners & Losers is where virtually ALL of the policy crafting mental ENERGY had been directed. O'Drama is right about (1) thing; all the fallout over healthcare has been a sideshow. That any voter might actually 'benefit' from it is only derivative drivel. How long will it be at this pace before design engineers are coerced into compliance or something really unfortunate might happen to their family..?
