If “we’ve proved that Communism works” doesn’t appear quickly in a GOP ad against Florida Dem. Rep. Joe Garcia, they’re doing it wrong:

“Let me give you an example, the kind of money we’ve poured in,” he said. “So the most dangerous — sorry, the safest city in America is El Paso, Texas. It happens to be across the border from the most dangerous city in the Americas, which is Juarez. Right?”

“And two of the safest cities in America, two of them are on the border with Mexico,” Garcia continued. “And of course, the reason is we’ve proved that Communism works. If you give everybody a good government job, there’s no crime.”

If he loses in November, his own show on MSNBC awaits.

For the record, I don’t really know what the hell he’s talking about, but who cares — awesome ad material. Get on it, GOP! The only potential downside is that it might win him a few extra progressive votes.

The only thing that has been proven is the truth of the saying, "Never underestimate the power of human stupidity."

Leave it to Doug to bring the comedy gold!

Here are those really telling [teachable] moments where the Professional Left lets its guard down and shows their true intentions. Who knew we had 'border' problems w/ Puerto Rico..? Between now and Nov. we'll make clear there's no "economic shot in the arm" to out of control immigration. Illegal or otherwise.

That entire segment should land Garcia in the insane asylum. Total gibberish. Loved the pained face on the interviewer. Poor girl.

One rather distressing development. I tried to call SPG for the first time in a while and got a message that his number is no longer in service. Apparently he has lost his cellphone service. Since I don't know exactly where he lives or the name or location of his sign shop, I have no way of getting in touch with him. I've tried some internet searches, but haven't found any good leads.

All I can do now is hope he calls me. I have a box of DVDs that belong to him. He'll probably want them sooner or later.

Never trust statistics from a man who eats his own earwax.

So sorry to hear that. Just days ago at MM's I made ref. to this very type of scenario [twistedly] warming this administration's heart. Having cons. bloggers ( Zilla included ) falling off the radar, in large part due to the very economic scenario they've engineered would be preferable over taking heat from shutting blogs DOWN. Like the displaced Medical Device tech employees, eventually they'll just fade away…

Matt Drudge recently expressed grave concern over accessibility and went so far as to tweet over "having a backup plan". It's why I'm glad ( post Twitchy launch ) MM has kept the old site active. Kinda' hard for the gov to shut down a blog that just so happens to be titled..?

"If you give everybody a good government job, there’s no crime."

So, in Earwax Gracia's universe, the government simply does away with the private sector and employs anyone who wants a job. Given that working for the government has been reduced to viewing porn on the internet throughout most, if not all, of the day. We quickly see that nothing productive of any kind is achieved.
