I commented about Jay Carney’s resignation here, but what I didn’t mention was this: President Obama’s farewell to his longtime press secretary also included a unique sendoff:

Obligatory disclaimer: “Not that there’s anything wrong with that.”

Hug, hug, kiss, kiss. Maybe that's why Baghdad Jay resigned.

Makes you wonder if Carney will file a sexual harassment law suit against Dear Leader.

Was that really for Carney or was it to make Reggie Love jealous?

That's not the side of Obama he's used to being so close to.

No Tanya Reiman here but isn't the expression on Carney's face that of pure, unadulterated RELIEF? Dude looks like that 11th hr./death row phone call from the governor came through!

This suckah gonna' BLOW and Carney got a last minute reprieve. With all the stepped up rhetoric, scandal [pick] and Do-or-DIE Agenda implementation frothing over, DC will be the last place you want to be. Especially when the mid's prove disastrous.

If there were any inner circle bennies to be doled out for loyalists [post] Democracy, he's already EARNED them! Perhaps an appointment as Vice Duke of Region VII?

This was an interesting post from a soldier who claims he served with released POW. As I read the accounts of his "capture" something did not set well with me and now the circumstances of his release are even more baffling.

Stunning. One poster summed it up ( assuming the telling is accurate ) "Traitor for Terrorists". Plenty of cause here for healthy scepticism.

OT but being home for the weekend; making periodic sweep to feed the old office shredder and just going thru so many of those [dated] doc's turned out to be more heart breaking than 'nostalgic'.

Clients, good Americans, with healthy, NORMAL, reasonable dreams and expectations. All dashed by the Poser in Chief. Clearing out desk drawers was depressing. Guess there's a reason I put it off…
