The rapid progression from “illegal aliens” to “undocumented migrants” to “refugees” to “because Jesus” really is a thing to behold:

The man who heads the federal agency responsible for many of the 50,000 unaccompanied alien children from Central America who have entered the U.S. illegally in recent months told attendees at a conference on Tuesday that those working with refugees should look to Jesus Christ as a role model.

“Jesus was a refugee, and that’s a very good reminder to all of us,” Eskinder Negash, director of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR), said at the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops’ (USCCB) 2014 Migration Conference in Washington, D.C.

It’s beyond comical how some who are constantly calling for “separation of church & state” are the first to invoke Jesus when doing so fits their wants.

Have you noticed that the Left usually presents their strongest (and usually only) defense of their version of “Christian values” when they’re in the midst of helping sell Democrat initiatives to fuck up the country? Otherwise it’s “keep your Jesus to yourself, pal!”

And I should add – ask Tim Tebow about the grief he has taken and is still taking for his beliefs. Those tolerant lefty's…… And calling ILLEGAL immigrants refugees is just a plain lie!

There is some truth in that (Jesus' parents took him to Egypt to flee Herod) but I still find it offensive because the people employing it otherwise have little, if any, use for Jesus other to use his name in a profane way.

Ok, so Jesus was a refugee…is that any reason to crucify 60,000 children?

I generally spend my days in Chrome, Slack, Trello, Evernote, Google Drive and TweetDeck, with some Pandora Radio pumping out tunes in the background and the occasional Facebook message soaring by.
