Tomorrow, Bill Clinton reminds you to be thankful for the things that make life worth living:
There’s always an awkward silence at the Clinton Thanksgiving table when Bill is asked if he prefers “thigh or breast.”
I think that picture is about three months old, but even still it would be perfect to feature on the cover of the Clintons’ Christmas cards.
Ever since the decision of the Ferguson grand jury was announced and alleged seekers of “justice” for Michael Brown burned down the neighborhood (most businesses torched were minority-owned) and looted, the wise progressive media has been parsing Darren Wilson’s statement. Here are words that are “racially charged” according to MSNBC and Vox, and could prove that Darren Wilson was a racist cop:
As well as “aggravated” and variations of “incredibly strong.”
Check out this Vox attempt to break the world non sequitur record — they “set the scene” by pretending it’s 100 years ago. Pitiful, but par for the course.
Things that don’t seem to be as controversial to the progressive media:
“Burn this bitch down.”
“Kill one of those crackers in their sleep.”
As for the mainstream media, hell, some of them are even having trouble admitting an entire town got trashed by thugs last night:
Surprised more of the MSM didn’t run with a “local marshmallow roast wrongly reported as arson because of racism” angle. I’m sure Vox will get to that soon enough.
President Obama signed the written invitation today.
Everybody say it together now: “Thanks Obama!”
The Obama administration is bracing for another surge of illegal immigrants next spring, bringing online a family detention center that will have 2,400 beds.
“We must be prepared for traditional, seasonal increases in illegal migration. The Dilley facility will provide invaluable surge capacity should apprehensions of adults with children once again surge this spring,” said Acting Immigration and Customs Enforcement Director Thomas S. Winkowski.
In advance of the president’s new pro-immigrant announcement set for Thursday night, ICE is readying its strategy for next year when over 100,000 illegals are expected to flood over the U.S.-Mexico border.
Humble suggestion: Pick them up at the border, bus them to DC, and dump half of them off inside the White House gate (he’s inviting them, so let him serve as personal host) and the other half should be delivered to the Dems’ cloak rooms in Congress.
Oh, and I guess it’s a tad disingenuous of me to call them “illegals,” since as long as Obama’s executive order stands they’ll just be deemed “fresh Americans” as soon as they cross the border — after being handed a voter registration card, of course.
This really is something when you watch it all back-to-back:
Most of the MSM has of course been incredibly slow to catch on, but the most egregious example of bias has to be NBC Nightly News, which hasn’t mentioned the Gruber story at all for going on two weeks now.
(h/t American Committment)
This. Is CNN:
The attack was of course waged by two Palestinians who murdered four people at a synagogue, but maybe some geniuses at CNN don’t know the difference. Or worse yet, maybe they do.
Step aside, “if you like your plan you can keep your plan,” because we have a new “lie of the year”:
Anybody who believes that is Gruber’s target audience.
Just for the sake of wild argument, let’s assume Obama’s telling the truth. That would almost be worse, because it would mean that his administration paid this guy hundreds of thousands of dollars (and states much more on top of that) for a long time to go around and, according to Democrats now distancing themselves from him, tell lies about Obamacare. And nobody in the administration was keeping track of what he was telling the states and reporting it back to the White House?
Obama’s also assuming everybody is stupid — but it’s nice to know where Gruber gets that attitude from.
Want to help “sell” Obamacare to the general public? There’s now a training manual:
Also, did you see the third Gruber video? That guy’s “off the cuff remarks” are remarkably similar. Nice to know we paid him over $400,000 to lie his ass off — though that’s not as much as we paid Jay Carney, so I guess it’s not that bad.
We know Democrats believe their voters are idiots, but it’s rare to hear one of them admit it loud and proud.
Jonathan Gruber’s past admissions about Obamacare have somehow avoided appearing on the MSM’s radar. Just imagine how horribly Democrats would perform at the polls if we had a remotely honest and unbiased mainstream media:
Since the video was uploaded, the major English and Spanish broadcast networks of ABC, CBS, NBC, Univision, and Telemundo have chosen not to cover this devastating video on either their morning or evening newscasts.
What a surprise!
The networks had no problem citing Gruber as an expert when he was spinning for the Obama administration, so it seems like that same person calling duped voters “stupid” would be news. And it would be — if the guilty parties were Republicans.
Gruber now regrets his comments. More accurately, he regrets that his remarks were recorded.
This one slipped through the cracks last week, but there’s no better summary of the MSM’s mood on election night that Tom Brokaw’s ring tone that just happened to go off when MSNBC called Kentucky for Mitch McConnell:
South Carolina Republican Sen. Tim Scott is a major threat when it comes to exposing the Left’s BS about Republicans being “bad” for the poor (ditto now for Mia Love who will be in the House).
The GOP should take note of this unapologetic way to explain the colossal failure that is the Democrat “war on poverty”:
Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C., explained during an appearance on MSNBC on Thursday that it is the Republican Party and its support for things being conducted at the local level, and not the Democratic Party, that has helped people like him rise from poverty and become successful.
His remarks came after MSNBC host Thomas Roberts asked: “You say you’re concerned about kids that are growing up in the wrong zip code and, like yourself, had a tough start on the way out. But if we look at agencies that are following some of your voting records, they have concern. And the NAACP has given you an ‘F’ on their annual scorecard.”
Did you hear Thomas Roberts sneer a bit toward the end of Scott’s explanation (about the 1:59 mark)? Nothing like a rich white dude trying to convince an African-American conservative who grew up in poverty that he’s not “black enough” and doesn’t understand the plight of the poor.
