Politico did this on purpose, right?

Somebody stop him!

Maybe Bubba was offered a cut from the stimulus money Hagan and her husband skimmed off the stimulus. Hagan’s got a very slim lead in N.C. and with a little luck that could be a GOP pickup.

Speaking of the Senate, it’s time for “place your bets.” The best part about Tuesday night would be if Harry Reid gets booted out of the Majority Leader’s office. The odds of that happening are looking good so far, and this adds to the optimism:

Joni Ernst has charged to achieve a 7-point lead over Democrat Bruce Braley in a new Iowa Poll, which buoys the GOP’s hope that an Iowa victory will be the tipping point to a Republican takeover of the U.S. Senate.

Ernst, a state senator and military leader, enjoys 51 percent support among likely voters. That’s a majority, and it’s her biggest lead in the three Iowa Polls conducted this fall. Braley, a congressman and trial lawyer, gets 44 percent, according to The Des Moines Register’s final Iowa Poll before Tuesday’s election.

As for the Texas governor’s race, a poll question: How long after Wendy Davis’ concession speech will it be until MSNBC calls her with a job offer? Her abject wrongness makes her the perfect fit for them.

Bill Clinton, the proven liar, telling the truth? How will we know he is actually telling the truth?

I once heard an old man make a comment on presidents and honesty. "Washington couldn't tell a lie, Roosevelt couldn't tell the truth, and Clinton can't tell the difference."

How do you know a Senate campaign is going bad? When one of your big donors heckles you at a campaign event:

Udall got heckled by one of his own donors during a campaign speech in Centennial, a suburb of Denver, on Sunday, according to a report in The Guardian.

Then, finally, came the only reference to policy in Udall’s speech. “And by the way, I’m proud to stand with Colorado’s women,” he said, almost as an aside. “I’m proud to stand for reproductive freedom.”

An angry voice from the crowd jeered: “That’s not the only thing you stand for! Jesus Christ!”

Udall turned to a short, dark man on his left. The senator look genuinely stunned. “I’m sorry?”

“That’s not the only thing you stand for!” The heckler was Leo Beserra, a 73-year-old who made millions on Wall Street and, since the early 1990s, has shared a generous slice of that wealth with Colorado Democrats.

"Who is running the worst campaign? Him,” Beserra told The Guardian. “Because fing abortion is all he talks about. He should not talk about it any more whatsoever. There are so many other issues.”
