Multiple autopsies, including one conducted by Eric Holder’s Justice Department, have reached similar conclusions — one being that Michael Brown’s hands weren’t up and he wasn’t trying to surrender when Darren Wilson shot him. But don’t tell that to these CNN dopes who care more about contributing to pushing a false narrative than reporting the known facts of the case:

That picture is, however, a good metaphor for CNN’s standing in the cable news ratings book.

Doug's ratings link reads more like an obituary than report. Were they individual entities and not holdings within a conglomerate, they'd be a stock shorters DREAM.

In a strange way, it's the very same predicament the Dimmocratic Party is suffering under. This is what happens when you find yourself painted into a corner of your own making and appeal to the 20% radical Left becomes what remains of your core constituency.

It doesn't get any better than THIS.

I see this and I cant believe that my liberal friends and coworkers tell me that Fox News is biased.

And even without knowing [one] of your LF&CW's I can say w/ confidence, they've never SEEN a single show..!

Their near [universal] condemnation of the *entire* network, content, editorials and on-air personalities/credibility is truly a testament to the Left's mindless adherence and lock step marching order precision.

Going forward, kind of notice their momentary balking when attempting to make the bashing come off as "unique" or.., original? Comedy GOLD every time!

This type of activism is what is destroying the credibility of the so called news organizations out there. The stop being journalists once they take a side in a story and start becoming part of the story.

This crap has been going on for years and years. Go back to prohibition – reporters were scrambling to get "celebrity" photos/stories of mobsters, crooked politicians, snobby socialites and of course Hollywood elite "actors". They worshiped these people and got throngs of uneducated people to "dream" about a life of luxury. No different today – except now they are outright advocates for the cause celeb or whatever liberal perverted ideology is out there. Just so they get to keep company with the perverts at the "in" eatery or DC cocktail party. There is only about 2% of our current "journalists" that are true to their profession. The rest are whores to the fame and fortune.

  9. Granny617 on December 15th, 2014 10:45 pm

And might I add the politicians they write about. The pols would rather be "seen" with some celebrity "journalist" than do the work of the people – and that is on both sides of the aisle. They are bigger whores than the MSM. Ted Cruz, Mike Lee and Justin Amash are the only ones who seem true to their office. I hope Boehner and McConnell go down in flames in leadership positions. They are two of the biggest whores and liars in politics.today.

"Were they individual entities and not holdings within a conglomerate, they'd be a stock shorters DREAM."

Indeed. To a great degree I'm guessing said "conglomerate" gets a kickass writeoff for the losses. There's money there somewhere… kind of like when a lousy NFL franchise loses money year after year but when they're up for sale people are still willing to pay hundreds of millions of dollars for them.

Can CNN, at this point, disavow anything at all about the CNN Riots going on in Ferguson and elsewhere?? They started the riots, its their lies that started them, and they've fanned the flames of racial hatred for four months now to ensure as much death and destruction as possible.

How could they now, after all of that, acknowledge any of the actual facts in the case??

  12. Granny617 on December 16th, 2014 11:14 am

They would never disavow what they have done. They believe in the "cause". Like all of the MSM – they have a liberal agenda and would die before they actually reported the facts.

As Mike Royko once shared; "The Chicago Cubs, the sports franchise that treats failure like an ANNUITY!" ( para, we miss ya' Mike! )

Never having been on the, Hide The Stinker side of finance I can only share that mutual fund portfolio managers often rely on the practice of "harvesting losses". By keeping Losers on the books and in the fund assures they can offset Profits at a time and place of their choosing.

Like say you had a barn burner of a year, and feared you were facing a lot of STCG ( Short Term Capital Gains ) you could 'harvest' the Losses you'd been keeping in your hip pocket for just such an occasion.

Still, he brings up an interesting point. Did CNN [etc.] actually believe they could control the very angry mobs they instigated? Honestly wouldn't surprise me!

As we look at the arrogance of every participant from Media Matters to Salon Game Changer, Crooks & Liars etc., these people have an out-sized version of the amount of direct influence they actually wield.

Obama's 2012 [FaceBook] Campaign and His incessant NSA meddling/meta/data gathering forays tell me they're All In! where media manipulation is concerned. They WORSHIP it.

  15. Marshall_Will on December 16th, 2014 5:13 pm

Look at the way media suck-ups helped perpetuate the myth "Jessica Alba is creating a BILLION dollar company!" You can't click on a web page without that durned link popping up!

But how many journotools have actually taken that claim to TASK? From what little I've read, that's the DESIGN. All we have to corroborate her claim to be "hands on" are… pictures? How about those SEC 10-Q/10K filings like ugly people have to submit fellas?

Like the kids that claimed to have made $72 mil. in the stock market, if no serious opposition to grandiose claims arise, you'll only encourage them!
