Thanks for nothing, DiCaprio!

Where was the media on this a few years ago when the Obama administration and Department of Energy were lying their asses off about electric cars so they could grease their cronies with billions of taxpayer dollars? It’s not like it’s “breaking news,” but the MSM has to pretend it is:

People who own all-electric cars in places where coal generates the power are actually making the air dirtier, according to a new study. The key is the electricity’s source. If it comes from coal, the electric cars produce 3.6 times more soot and smog deaths than gas, because of the pollution made in generating the electricity, according to the study published Monday by the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. They also are significantly worse at heat-trapping carbon dioxide that worsens global warming, it found.

The study examines environmental costs for cars’ entire life cycle, including where power comes from and the environmental effects of building batteries. Coal produces 39 percent of the country’s electricity, according to the Department of Energy, with West Virginia, Wyoming, Ohio, North Dakota and Illinois with the highest percentage of coal-fired electricity.

The study finds that overall, all-electric vehicles cause 86 percent more deaths from air pollution than do cars powered by regular gasoline. But if natural gas produces the electricity? Half as many deaths as gasoline cars.

But instead of admitting that, in the current reality, electric cars aren’t feasible economically or environmentally, the green shammers simply “solve” that problem by trying to force coal plants out of business when there’s no replacement for the power they supply.

And as more and more coal plants shutdown due to Obamulation edicts via the EPA these electric cars (which have to be charged quite frequently) will put an even larger strain on a power grid that has failed to keep pace with the growing population of the country.

Just one more avenue dear leader is taking to turn us into a third world country so that we can be on even footing with our enemies (cause that will somehow make them like us more).

What's incredible is the ratio of college 'grads' that bought to HS/blue collar folks that saw right THRU this..! And that's specifically how Greeners tailored the pitch!

Can we get some demographics on the typical hybrid/e-car buyer? Love to see THAT.

Doug, it was very appropriate for you to mention the "current reality" in a post about electric cars. I get a charge out of that kind of wordplay.

The Grid has been their target/leverage point all along hasn't it? Back in the early 90's ( now defunct ) Enron put out a comprehensive study on energy. What it revealed at the end of the day was incredibly simplistic.

The secret to having a thriving economy, one that provides benefit to all members and classes, wasn't, being an English speaking country, or Christianity or 'education'? It's about having cheap energy..!

They theorized by providing its citizens access to affordable [RELIABLE] power, virtually ANY government could build a robust economy! And… we all know how the Leftists interpreted THAT?

Juicing may seem as mind numbing as mopping the floor, and yes, it's so much easier to stop at the local coffee house to get an energy boost before a long day at work. However, juicing is the one thing we can easily do for a positive improvement in energy and health, and it doesn't involve excess amounts of sugar or caffeine. So why is it the one thing we rarely follow through, when the benefits are so obvious?

This topic of Natural Healing is very controversial in our society yet so misunderstood and lacking as far as educating the public on why many sicknesses and diseases occur in the first place. Since I almost died from my disease and learned there is an alternative to medication and surgery. I love the Natural Way the Best.
