NYC officers turn their backs on Bill de Blasio

There are plenty of reasons I’m not a fan of NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio — for starters he’s a socialist designer of leftist utopia, which always ends in abject misery and disaster — but his siding with those who are peddling myths at worst and half-truths at best about recent police shootings is also reprehensible.

In the wake of yesterday’s assassination of two officers, police it seems have had enough:

Believing City Hall has betrayed them, cops demonstrated their anger Saturday by turning their backs on Mayor de Blasio as he entered a Brooklyn hospital to pay his respects to two murdered officers.

A startling video shows a hallway at Woodhull Hospital filled with officers silently facing away from de Blasio as he walks a blue gantlet.

The demonstration, captured by WPIX11 News, included the presidents of the Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association and the Sergeants Benevolent Association.

I hope they do the same for Al Sharpton, who said he was “outraged” by the killing of the two officers. To that I say “bullshit.” If the two officers had seen that scumbag coming with gun drawn and taken him down, that sick opportunist and tragedy profiteer would be in Brooklyn today leading another anti-police protest.

There are other things that trouble police about Team de Blasio:

Well yeah, there’s that.

In the more national picture, idiots like these haven’t helped matters either:

Way to foment anger using debunked claims.

Enough is enough.
