The Obamacare “train wreck” has turned into a ship wreck. Hawaii’s federal exchange sinking is just the latest example:

I want to see itemized expense listings for where that money went, because there are most likely people getting incredibly wealthy off this sham.

Speaking of shams… this is obligatory:

I am certain that this administration will say the only reason the exchange isn't working is because enough money hasn't been spent. Another 200 million and we'll get it right.

Makes you wonder just how many exchanges will close before dear leader is out of office.

My biggest fear about the failed exchanges is the SCOTUS case regarding subsidies. I fear that SCOTUS will see the closing of state exchanges and decide that the feds can give out subsidies to exchanges set up by the feds even though there is clear evidence that the law was written with a carrot and stick approach to try to goad the states into setting up exchanges.

It'll be interesting no DOUBT. ( And when compared to OREGON, Hawaii got off light! ) Again, notice how the brunt of [epically] FAILED 'exchanges' come to us courtesy OF: Blue State USA!

What are you implying here? That in addition to healthy ( read leading reasonable lifestyle taxpayers ) can not only subsidize slacker & couch potatoes policies, when also have the privilege of shoring up their failed EXCHANGES!?!? How awesome is THAT?

Uh….proximately the same % of failed alternative energy companies. Try 100.

If nothing else, doesn't The Great Unraveling put on display just what a total strawman argument the Progressives have put on the table for the last 30+ years? They've long reveled in rubbing our noses in afflictions that strike like one in 10,000 to one in MILLION people, toddlers losing all their hair, women that delivered sextuplets!

When the ugly REALITY is the majority of HC expense going forward will have a lot more to do w/ OBESITY, poor lifestyle choices, lack of exercise and recreational drugs than EVER were touched by exotic or longshot illnesses. Oh, speaking of which, I read awhile back the nice ( though entirely UNTRAINED ) nurse that treated the 1st Ebola patient is uh.., SUING the hospital! I'd start around.., $5 mil?

IIJM or are the fractures within the Dimmocratic party becoming REAL obvious?

It's clear to ME (anyway) that the overwhelming majority of Rank & File Dims never EVER really bought into the whole radical/progressive agenda! It was just a harmless lip service they paid to assure that 20% Hard Left vote, but clearly never felt it would go any FARTHER than that. Lip SERVICE!

And for O'Drama to say "at the end of the day, Elizabeth Warren is a politician like the rest of us" really isn't FAIR. Let alone accurate. LW ( before imbibing the Progressive Kool-Aid ) truly WAS a consumer advocate. And not by instigating borrowers to default on the mortgages en masse? The fact she's putting the brakes on His [fast track] Trade/Suicide Pact says a great deal. IMHO.

Yep, "more money" is the answer to everything, even crappy public schools:

Not really. It was all a planned in the first place. EW being able to add street cred to her "I'm for the people" crap lead the way for the dems to get what they really wanted out of McConnell, votes on four separate bills that would never have been brought to the floor. At first they were insisting that all four bills be rolled into the Trade/Suicide tract and filibustered. At the time I said over on MM that this is just a rouse to get something an the GOP leadership will cave. Well sure enough the dems have decided that s long as they get votes on the four bills that will be good enough and they have received that from McConnell, so now they will allow the Trade/Suicide Pact to go through. Warren gets her street cred and the Dems get votes on bills that the GOP would have never brought up, because those bills are going to be used as political fodder against GOP Senate candidates in 2016 (when the GOP has more seats to defend). These bills are things that are supposedly going to curb currency manipulation (which will probably start a trade war), money to retrain workers who lose their job due to the Trade/Suicide pact and on and on. And the GOP leadership, so busy trying to please their masters at the Chamber of Crony Capitalism, caved and it is us taxpayers who are screwed once again.

Interesting. But honestly, if assuring HC gets the nod/WH ( why hand creds to Warren on a silver platter? ) True, she's a sewshall justus hustler to END all hustlers, but w/ her steady drumbeat ( does she really need a 'cause'? )

Agreed, it really is incredible, w/ (2) consecutive mid-term drubbings, The Professional Left is STILL driving the agenda! Go figure! And yes, Mitch truly is a clueless/pwned A-HOLE. Where's Eric Cantor when you need him? But rather than focus on [his] unfathomable stoopidity, wouldn't our efforts be better applied toward disassembling the U.S C o' C? If it wasn't dipw@d, it'd only be some OTHER puppet/tool.

To say the seeds of our own economic destruction lay within the "healing language" of this debacle of a 'bill', then apply it toward 2016's election results might prove a bit of a stretch? The only thing the War On Women/Income Inequality/Enviro-moonbattery ever scores 'points' w/ are Diehard Dims anyway. Whether or not they'll ADMIT it, they'll need to win over more than just career students, gov workers and aging hippies. IMHO.

I am not so certain that HC will get the nod. Many in the MSM would love to see EW get the nod instead. Not to mention there is no love loss between the Obama's and the Clinton's. This could even be a case of the dems hedging their bets with Warren as Clinton is already showing signs of sinking fast.
