So much for the NYT helping Planned Parenthood push their ‘heavily edited’ video claim

The videos showing Planned Parenthood reps talking about selling harvested baby organs were quickly dismissed by Planned Parenthood, NARAL and the rest as heavily edited and misleading.

The New York Times originally reported that the organization that released the videos only put out the full unedited version after Planned Parenthood complained. The Times has corrected that, finally:

Correction: August 6, 2015
An article on July 21 about a video made by abortion opponents, which they said proved that Planned Parenthood sells tissue from aborted fetuses for profit, referred incorrectly to the timing of the release of what was described as the full-length, unedited version of the video showing a Planned Parenthood employee talking about how much clinics charge for specimens. The full video was posted at the same time as the edited version. It is not the case that the full video was not released until “after Planned Parenthood complained of selective, misleading editing.”

The pro-abort Left will keep pushing the “heavily edited video” lie because that’s all they’ve got. This exchange sums it up fairly well:

Planned Parenthood really has no “out” here so watching them twist is a thing of beauty — too bad what they’re defending is so horrific.
