Barack Obama kind of sounds like he wishes he could get elected president and finally do something about all this!
We are grieving with Parkland. But we are not powerless. Caring for our kids is our first job. And until we can honestly say that we're doing enough to keep them safe from harm, including long overdue, common-sense gun safety laws that most Americans want, then we have to change.

That’s something else coming from the guy who helped sell so many guns during his time in office that Smith & Wesson made him honorary Salesman of the Year for eight years running. And while I’d love to hear any ideas that would have prevented this psycho in Florida from carrying through with his carnage, the “do something” crowd seems to have little more than “blame the NRA and Republicans to get donations from them” to offer, which means they’re not serious about trying to solve the problem.
When pressed to explain specifically what a “common sense gun safety law” would involve, Progressives become strangely silent.
I think to them “common sense gun safety law” means making it illegal for the NRA to make political donations to Republicans.
