The DOJ Inspector General’s report about the FBI’s investigation into Hillary Clinton’s emails has been released, and the OIG concluded that texts like this don’t indicate that agents’ personal political opinions affected their investigation at all:
“Several FBI employees Who played critical roles in the investigation sent political messages,” IG report says.
It cites Lisa Page text to Peter Strzok: “(Trump’s) not ever going to become president, right? Right?!”
Strzok: “No. No he’s not. We’ll stop it.”

No sign of bias there, said the OIG.
The OIG also slammed James Comey not unlike the way Comey’s statement about Hillary Clinton before the election, which is to criticize the “mistakes” that were made but to grant overall exoneration.
