The Robert Mueller probe, which is basically a Roomba that will keep sniffing around until it finds dirt directly related to Trump, has reportedly moved on to examining the president’s… tweets:
For years, President Donald Trump has used Twitter as his go-to public relations weapon, mounting a barrage of attacks on celebrities and then political rivals even after advisers warned he could be creating legal problems for himself.
Those concerns now turn out to be well founded. The special counsel, Robert Mueller, is scrutinizing tweets and negative statements from the president about Attorney General Jeff Sessions and former FBI director James Comey, according to three people briefed on the matter.
This may well all boil down to Mueller concluding that Trump family members had some unpaid parking tickets, at which point The Resistance who started all this by crying “Russia collusion” will say, “see, we TOLD you he did something wrong!”
But at least the price tag on the attempt to validate the Democrats’ election narrative isn’t costing too much:
Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation has cost the government $16.7 million, reports show https://t.co/4G2NOQXwdb

I wonder how much that amounts to per Trump tweet that’ll be scrutinized.
