So Paul Krugman’s handling the likely confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh well (cue eye roll)

Remember on election night 2016 when Paul Krugman said this?

It really does now look like President Donald J. Trump, and markets are plunging. When might we expect them to recover?

Frankly, I find it hard to care much, even though this is my specialty. The disaster for America and the world has so many aspects that the economic ramifications are way down my list of things to fear.

Still, I guess people want an answer: If the question is when markets will recover, a first-pass answer is never.

You know that the NY Times’ Nobel Prize-winning economist is rarely correct — the above prediction is just one of the many examples — so don’t put any money on this doozy either:

Here’s his conclusion:

So let me make a last-minute appeal to Republican senators who care about America’s future, if there are any left: Don’t do this. A vote for Kavanaugh will be a vote to destroy the legitimacy of one of the last federal institutions standing.

Not only will people die, but the Constitution itself will be killed off if the constitutional process for installing a Supreme Court justice is followed? That’s Krug-tastic!

Basically lefties like Krugman are always going to think a SCOTUS that isn’t left-leaning is “illegitimate.” Nurse Ratched needs to bring a meds cup to these people STAT.
