Clearly the White House didn’t act fast enough.

And now, just because… Obama dancing to Snoop Dogg’s Drop It Like It’s Hot:

Elizabeth Hasselbeck is usually the only person on that panel with properly firing neurons, but that doesn’t mean the others can’t be as entertaining as blind squirrels in a nut shop. The other day the panel was discussing the demise of Kim Jong Il, and Whoopi Goldberg said that communism is not unlike Sister Act II — looks like a good idea on paper but is an absolute disaster when played out in the real world:

Anybody who can’t spot the fundamental flaw of communism even “on paper” will either end up oppressed under a communist regime or hosting The View in a country that so far has been smart enough not to implement what looks good to simps “on paper.”

I don’t get it… communism has ushered in many horrible human tragedies in history, and those events are now recorded “on paper.” After all this recorded history, communism doesn’t work “on paper” either… so why do vacuous dingbats keep insisting it does work “on paper”? Sheesh.

This is why the left is having so much trouble figuring out what’s happened with Obama. “On paper” he was going to be a great president — everybody was going to have a high paying job for little work, health care would be free, the rise of the oceans would slow and the world was entering a new age of peace and harmony. But in reality… they’ll never learn.

The disparity between the top 1 percent and everyone else has been laid bare — there’s no more denying that those at the top get their share at the expense of the 99 percent. Lobbyists, loopholes, tax breaks… how can ordinary folks expect a fair shake?

The rich try to get richer via “lobbyists, loopholes, tax breaks”… er, he left out tax evasion:

Willie Nelson is the poster boy for tax evasion. In 1990, the IRS sent him a bill for $16.7 million dollars in back taxes. Faced with this rather large debt, Willie decided to try and pay the IRS back by releasing a double album entitled The IRS Tapes: Who’ll Buy My Memories? The IRS, ever helpful, sped up the process by selling nearly everything he owned.

Lucky for Willie, his friends purchased most of the items and returned them to Willie either free of charge or for a nominal fee. He managed to pay back the IRS in only three years.

So Willie avoided taxes, was forced to work off the bill and then his upper one-percent friends bought all his stuff back for him? That’s not exactly OWS street cred, but given the level of hypocrisy in that so-called movement, Willie fits right in. Plus he’s got some really good weed, which I’m sure isn’t exactly frowned upon.

Nelson’s worth $15 million these days. He might not look like a member of the one percent, but he is — at the expense of the 99 percent of course, at least according to Willie.

Fonda told Morgan that the current crop of GOP candidates does not impress her.

“They all scare me, frankly,” said Fonda. “I get depressed and scared when I look at the Republican debates.”

Insert your own “they wouldn’t scare her as much if they were wearing NVA uniforms” joke here.

In the same interview, Fonda got even:

Fonda is hoping that voters reelect Barack Obama, telling the CNN host, “I hope he gets re-elected. I wish that he would be stronger. I think he will be in his second term. I think he’s going to be reelected.

Now that’s scary and depressing.

The customer then stood up “with the seat belt light still on for departure” and took his phone into the plane’s lavatory, the company continued.

“He slammed the lavatory door so hard, the cockpit crew heard it and became alarmed, even with the cockpit door closed and locked,” the airline’s post said.

The passenger was extremely rude to the crew, calling them inappropriate names and using offensive language,” it continued. “Given the facts above, the passenger was removed from the flight and denied boarding.”

But Baldwin’s publicist basically said “everybody else was using their wireless devices too”:

That pretty much confirms my “Baldwin was profiled” satire. Life imitates snark once again.

If Baldwin’s publicist wants to expose hypocrisy he could start by asking himself what his “Occupy Wall Street” supporting client is doing sitting in first class and shilling for Capital One.
