About Time Mag’s symbol of the Trump admin’s parent/child separation policy…

“Journalism” has never been as big of a joke as it is RIGHT NOW.

It all started with Time Magazine turning a photo of a little girl crying at the border into a symbol of a border policy that’s been going on for years that the newly awakened media is blaming the current administration for:

Not that the mainstream media will give a s**t, but according to the Daily Mail, it was just another manufactured moment on the part of Time Mag (via Twitchy):

Denis Javier Varela Hernandez, 32, said that he had not heard from his wife Sandra, 32, who was with his two-year-old daughter Yanela Denise, for nearly three weeks until he saw the image of them being apprehended in Texas.

In an exclusive interview with DailyMail.com, Hernandez, who lives in Puerto Cortes, Honduras, says that he was told yesterday that his wife and child are being detained at a family residential center in Texas but are together and are doing ‘fine.’

‘You can imagine how I felt when I saw that photo of my daughter. It broke my heart. It’s difficult as a father to see that, but I know now that they are not in danger. They are safer now than when they were making that journey to the border,’ he said.

Denis said his wife and daughter were never separated by border control agents and remain together.

Another media total embarrassment? Yep.

So — the people weren’t fleeing violence and the child wasn’t separated from her parent. Other than that, you totally nailed the facts, Time Magazine!

The MSM will be quick to clarify all their hyperventilating stories about this, right? Of course not. Contrary to the NY Times and CNN’s new slogans, the facts matter less than ever.

I worked in local media for 20 years and have spent the last six years observing the media scene full time, and I can safely say “journalism” has never been anywhere near as big of a joke as it is right now. But you knew that already.

Stammer-time! Dem Sen. Tammy Baldwin gets asked if she criticized these same detention facilities when Obama was president

Cat got your tongue, senator?

Hey, I’ve got to hand it to CNN for a change, because Brooke Baldwin really blindsided Dem Sen. Baldwin of Wisconsin with this question:

You could almost see smoke coming off Sen. Baldwin’s head while her brain short-circuited for several seconds. “The MSM’s not supposed to be challenging Democrats on this… what’s going on!?”

Here’s Sen. Baldwin’s reaction to that question condensed into six seconds:

Dem senators who demanded Trump stop splitting up families at the border slam Trump for keeping families together at the border

It’s ALMOST like it’s not really about “the children.”

Elizabeth Warren and Kamala Harris have been Democrats demanding that the Trump administration stop separating kids from their parents at the border via a zero-tolerance approach to a law that’s been on the books for at least 20 years:

So yesterday, Trump signed an executive order doing what the liberals have asked, and that’s ending child separation at the border:

President Donald Trump on Wednesday signed an executive order to allow children to stay with parents caught crossing the border illegally — moving to stop the family separations that have triggered a national outcry and political crisis for Republicans.

The measure would allow children to stay in detention with parents for an extended period of time. This comes as congressional Republicans scramble to draft legislation to address the same issue, but face challenges mustering the votes.

At that point, Democrats celebrated and thanked the president for doing exactly as they asked. JUST KIDDING!

Dances With Identity Theft, along with Harris and the rest of the Dems won’t stop until Trump agrees to completely open borders and to make everybody in the country illegally registered Democrats will full voting rights.

This isn’t really about “the children.” If it was these people might have mentioned the same issue when it was going on under Obama and previous presidents.

Chuck Schumer encourages Trump to sidestep Congress in desperate attempt to keep Dem fingerprints off any border ‘fix’

This shows how desperate the Democrats are on the issue of border detentions. They do NOT want their fingerprints on any “fix” to the current law, so it’s come to this:

In other words, Schumer wants to make sure that no matter what happens the Dems will be able to blame a Trump EO.

And that’s pretty much what Trump’s going to do:

President Trump, speaking with members of Congress at the White House, addressed the border crisis, saying he would sign an executive order soon that keeps immigrant families together.

By the way, the Dems’ 100 percent pivot to focusing on border issues sums up nicely how well their anti-NRA campaign was going over with voters.

Also, if Trump issues a border EO to stop family separation it’s not going to stop libs from calling him Hitler. If anything it’ll embolden them. Case in point: The ACLU simply moving the goal posts:

NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio has his priorities!

But here’s the ULTIMATE dilemma for de Blasio.

Here’s what’s perfectly acceptable to New York City’s Comrade-in-Chief Bill de Blasio:

Here’s what’s NOT acceptable to Comrade de Blasio:

“Priorities” y’all!

We should present Comrade Mayor with the ultimate progressive dilemma and send an illegal alien to ask de Blasio for sanctuary in his city while holding a Chick-fil-A sandwich in a styrofoam container. De Blasio’s head would explode.

Head of ICE dumps immigration law reality all over moronic House Dem

Wherein a Dem triggered by enforcement of immigration laws gets informed what government body makes the laws:

More of the nation’s law enforcement should drop mics on congressional lunacy like that after being called “anti-immigrant.”

What Trump said about these criminal illegals vs. what NBC News’ Andrea Mitchell SAYS he said

What Trump said:

What NBC News’ intrepid miner for truth Andrea Mitchell translated that to while explaining Calif. Gov. Jerry Brown’s criticism:

“MS-13” becomes “people trying to get into the country.” — WHAT media bias!?

And to think the mainstream media actually sit around at night scratching their heads wondering why nobody trusts them.

Homeless guy finds out the hard way that the Calif. governor’s mansion isn’t as ‘open door’ as Jerry Brown’s border policies

Can we just call him an “undocumented governor’s visitor” and have the charges dropped?

I could be mistaken, but I think some of the most secure places in the country belong to leaders of the “no borders, no walls” movement, as this guy discovered

And he got ARRESTED! Can you believe it? Why won’t California progressives just refer to the guy as an “undocumented governor’s visitor” to a sanctuary residence and drop all charges?

A homeless man who was arrested last month after breaking into California Gov. Jerry Brown’s home in Sacramento reportedly said he only tried entering the mansion because he figured the sanctuary state politician was “an open-door policy kind of guy.”

The California Highway Patrol said 51-year-old Steven Seeley was arrested April 19 and treated at a hospital for cuts he received while breaking a window to get out of the home in downtown Sacramento, located about 10 blocks from the Capitol.
“He’s an open-door policy kind of guy, so I figured the door would be unlocked, or else I wouldn’t have ran over there if I thought the door would be locked,” Seeley told KCRA.

Silly guy — to liberals, “open door policies” are only for unimportant things like national borders, and are definitely are not intended to apply to the homes of those same lefties.

Shocker: Some from ‘migrant caravan’ at border have already helped Trump make case for the wall

If only there was a big reinforced barrier of some sort that could prevent this sort of thing from happening.

The so-called “migrant caravan” that’s been working its way north through Mexico has arrived at the U.S. border. They’ve been stopped there, but U.S. Customs and Border Protection said that some of them are getting through illegally:

And how did they get through? Just guess:

But Scott and Director of Field Operations Pete Flores said Saturday that several groups of people from the caravan “have illegally entered the United States without immigration documents by climbing over the dilapidated scrap metal border fence” at the San Ysidro Port of Entry.

“In several of these incidents, children as young as 4 years old, and in one case a pregnant female, were detected entering the United States illegally through a dark, treacherous canyon that is notorious for human and drug smuggling,” Scott wrote. “As a father myself, I find it unconscionable that anyone would expose a child to these dangerous conditions.”

The Border Patrol chief went on to emphasize that anyone entering the country without documentation will be prosecuted for breaking the law. Individuals seeking asylum should seek asylum in the first safe country they enter, he added, “including Mexico.”

Gee, if only there was a new, big, reinforced barrier of some sort that could prevent this sort of thing from happening.

On the other side of the political spectrum, the Democrats will consider this great news.

Protesters from Mexico trespass at U.S. border wall construction site and accidentally make the best point EVER

If there was only something that could be built to eliminate this kind of trespassing!

The Director of Homeland Security visited a construction site for a wall along the border on Wednesday, and protesters appeared on the Mexico side of the border:

Eventually, some of those protesters made their way over to the U.S. side and made a point, but NOT the one they thought they were making:

Gee, if there was only something that could be built to eliminate that kind of trespassing!
