Chuck Schumer encourages Trump to sidestep Congress in desperate attempt to keep Dem fingerprints off any border ‘fix’

This shows how desperate the Democrats are on the issue of border detentions. They do NOT want their fingerprints on any “fix” to the current law, so it’s come to this:

In other words, Schumer wants to make sure that no matter what happens the Dems will be able to blame a Trump EO.

And that’s pretty much what Trump’s going to do:

President Trump, speaking with members of Congress at the White House, addressed the border crisis, saying he would sign an executive order soon that keeps immigrant families together.

By the way, the Dems’ 100 percent pivot to focusing on border issues sums up nicely how well their anti-NRA campaign was going over with voters.

Also, if Trump issues a border EO to stop family separation it’s not going to stop libs from calling him Hitler. If anything it’ll embolden them. Case in point: The ACLU simply moving the goal posts:

NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio has his priorities!

But here’s the ULTIMATE dilemma for de Blasio.

Here’s what’s perfectly acceptable to New York City’s Comrade-in-Chief Bill de Blasio:

Here’s what’s NOT acceptable to Comrade de Blasio:

“Priorities” y’all!

We should present Comrade Mayor with the ultimate progressive dilemma and send an illegal alien to ask de Blasio for sanctuary in his city while holding a Chick-fil-A sandwich in a styrofoam container. De Blasio’s head would explode.

Head of ICE dumps immigration law reality all over moronic House Dem

Wherein a Dem triggered by enforcement of immigration laws gets informed what government body makes the laws:

More of the nation’s law enforcement should drop mics on congressional lunacy like that after being called “anti-immigrant.”

What Trump said about these criminal illegals vs. what NBC News’ Andrea Mitchell SAYS he said

What Trump said:

What NBC News’ intrepid miner for truth Andrea Mitchell translated that to while explaining Calif. Gov. Jerry Brown’s criticism:

“MS-13” becomes “people trying to get into the country.” — WHAT media bias!?

And to think the mainstream media actually sit around at night scratching their heads wondering why nobody trusts them.

Homeless guy finds out the hard way that the Calif. governor’s mansion isn’t as ‘open door’ as Jerry Brown’s border policies

Can we just call him an “undocumented governor’s visitor” and have the charges dropped?

I could be mistaken, but I think some of the most secure places in the country belong to leaders of the “no borders, no walls” movement, as this guy discovered

And he got ARRESTED! Can you believe it? Why won’t California progressives just refer to the guy as an “undocumented governor’s visitor” to a sanctuary residence and drop all charges?

A homeless man who was arrested last month after breaking into California Gov. Jerry Brown’s home in Sacramento reportedly said he only tried entering the mansion because he figured the sanctuary state politician was “an open-door policy kind of guy.”

The California Highway Patrol said 51-year-old Steven Seeley was arrested April 19 and treated at a hospital for cuts he received while breaking a window to get out of the home in downtown Sacramento, located about 10 blocks from the Capitol.
“He’s an open-door policy kind of guy, so I figured the door would be unlocked, or else I wouldn’t have ran over there if I thought the door would be locked,” Seeley told KCRA.

Silly guy — to liberals, “open door policies” are only for unimportant things like national borders, and are definitely are not intended to apply to the homes of those same lefties.

Shocker: Some from ‘migrant caravan’ at border have already helped Trump make case for the wall

If only there was a big reinforced barrier of some sort that could prevent this sort of thing from happening.

The so-called “migrant caravan” that’s been working its way north through Mexico has arrived at the U.S. border. They’ve been stopped there, but U.S. Customs and Border Protection said that some of them are getting through illegally:

And how did they get through? Just guess:

But Scott and Director of Field Operations Pete Flores said Saturday that several groups of people from the caravan “have illegally entered the United States without immigration documents by climbing over the dilapidated scrap metal border fence” at the San Ysidro Port of Entry.

“In several of these incidents, children as young as 4 years old, and in one case a pregnant female, were detected entering the United States illegally through a dark, treacherous canyon that is notorious for human and drug smuggling,” Scott wrote. “As a father myself, I find it unconscionable that anyone would expose a child to these dangerous conditions.”

The Border Patrol chief went on to emphasize that anyone entering the country without documentation will be prosecuted for breaking the law. Individuals seeking asylum should seek asylum in the first safe country they enter, he added, “including Mexico.”

Gee, if only there was a new, big, reinforced barrier of some sort that could prevent this sort of thing from happening.

On the other side of the political spectrum, the Democrats will consider this great news.

Protesters from Mexico trespass at U.S. border wall construction site and accidentally make the best point EVER

If there was only something that could be built to eliminate this kind of trespassing!

The Director of Homeland Security visited a construction site for a wall along the border on Wednesday, and protesters appeared on the Mexico side of the border:

Eventually, some of those protesters made their way over to the U.S. side and made a point, but NOT the one they thought they were making:

Gee, if there was only something that could be built to eliminate that kind of trespassing!

Here’s what Calif. Dems consider Nat’l Guard duties too closely tied to ‘immigration enforcement’

“The feds need to take back the money they sent to California with interest.”

California Gov. Jerry Brown gladly accepted federal funding to mobilize the National Guard for use at the border. Except Brown said the Guard wouldn’t be used for purposes of enforcing immigration laws. How do Brown and the progressives who run California define duties that help enforce immigration laws? Well, pretty much anything:

California has rejected the federal government’s initial plans for National Guard troops to the border because the work is considered too closely tied to immigration enforcement, two U.S. officials told The Associated Press.

The state informed federal officials it will not allow its troops to fix and repair vehicles, operate remotely-controlled surveillance cameras to report suspicious activity to the Border Patrol, operate radios and provide “mission support,” which can include clerical work, buying gas and handling payroll, according to officials with knowledge of the talks who spoke condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the matter.

California Gov. Jerry Brown elicited rare and effusive praise from President Donald Trump last week after he pledged 400 troops to the Guard’s third large-scale border mission since 2006.

The governor’s commitment allowed Trump to boast support from all four border-state governors and helped put the president above the lower end of his threshold of marshaling 2,000 to 4,000 troops that he wants as a border security mission to fight illegal immigration and drug trafficking.

The feds need to take back the money they sent to California for Guard deployment, with interest, and arrest some of the state’s lawless sanctuary city cheerleading politicians while they’re at it.

Calif. governor accepts federal funds to send Nat’l Guard to protect border, except he won’t have them do that

Trump should demand the money back.

Surprisingly enough, the Trump-triggered and defiant governor of the state loaded with sanctuary cities has accepted the president’s request (and federal check) to activate National Guard troops intended for use at the border. The catch though is that Gov. Jerry Brown made it known that the Guard troops wouldn’t be allowed to do much of anything the Trump administration wants:

And let’s not kid ourselves — if Jerry Brown could send the National Guard to the border and order them to help illegals carry their luggage from Mexico into the U.S., he’d do it before you could say “bullet train to nowhere.”

Trump should demand the money back.

California Dems who say it’s too hard for citizens to get an ID to vote celebrate one million illegals obtaining driver’s licenses

California progressive “priorities” never cease to amaze. I wonder if there was some sort of award for the one-millionth illegal alien to receive a driver’s license in the state:

More than one million undocumented immigrants have obtained driver’s licenses under a historic state law known as AB 60, marking a significant milestone for advocates who say it’s improved road safety across California and has allowed immigrants to get behind the wheel — to get to work and grocery store — without fear.

The DMV has issued 1,001,000 driver’s licenses since the law’s inception in January 2015, according to the state’s most recent data.

“It’s been a true success story for our immigrant families, for our roads and our economy,” said Monterey County Supervisor Luis Alejo, who authored the bill as a state assemblyman in 2013. “It certainly has resulted in immigrants having a better life by no longer being in fear that they’re going to get their cars impounded or being put in deportation proceedings for something as simple as not having their license.”

But try saying that photo ID should be required for citizens to vote and the progressives shit themselves about such laws being racist and too unfair because it’s difficult for some people to obtain an ID.
