Who is “the party of the rich”?

The Republicans, who the Kennedy’s and Hillary’s of the world are always bashing for giving “tax cuts to wealthy polluters” (this is “wealthy pollution” if I ever saw it) and who are known as “the party of the rich,” are doing a pretty crappy job of earning their keep for that title.

The Bureau of Economic Analysis (there must be some serious drool coming out of the corners of mouths at those meetings) has found that, between the top ten “red” states, and the top ten “blue” states, the blue states have a 20% higher “per capita” income.

The gap used to be 30%, but blue staters spent that 10% trying to defeat Bush. A couple more Republican wins, coupled with spend-thrift activists, and red and blue states will acheive economic parody, and what could please the left more than financial fairness?
