The non-viable tissue masses who are picketing Planned Parenthood might be paying for an abortion

Planned Parenthood of southeastern Pennsylvania has come up with an interesting fundraising idea. Plagued (appropriately enough, since they’re located on Locust Street) by pro-life picketers, they’ve come up with a way to make money off the protesters. It’s Pledge-a-picket!

This from their website:

Here’s how it works: You decide on the amount you would like to pledge for each protester (minimum 10 cents). When protesters show up on our sidewalks, Planned Parenthood Southeastern Pennsylvania will count and record their number each day from October 1 through November 30, 2005. We will place a signoutside the health center that tracks pledges and makes protesters fully aware that their actions are benefiting PPSP. At the end of the two-month campaign, we will send you an update on protest activities and a pledge reminder.

If you pledge 30 cents per protester, and PPSP has 100 protesters in October and 160 protesters in November, your donation would be 78 dollars for the entire two-month campaign.

And good news, if you pledge now, The Grim Reaper will match your pledge dollar for dollar!

One thing that’s always been a sick travesty is the marketing of the killing of babies. It’s called anything but what it is. Hell, they won’t even use the term “abortion.”

The truth is always hidden behind la-de-da sounding terms designed so that if you’re against them, you’re anti-freedom.

Terms like “reproductive freedom,” “pro-choice” and “planned family management” would be comical, if it weren’t so tragic. You have to appreciate the marketing though. Had these people done public-relations work for the Khmer Rouge, the most harsh sounding “killing fields” would have been renamed a much more pleasant “Pol Pot gardens” or “meadows of preference.”

Their marketing skills have now allowed them to find a way to make money off pro-life protesters, because every picketer should be a “planned, wanted, and profitable” one.

Speaking of that, check out the Planned Parenthood “about us” page. Does this sound like The Final Solution dolled up in a floral sundress, or what?:

A wanted child allows women and men to achieve self-determination which results in a stronger family unit and a stronger society.

Planned Parenthood simply seeks a world where you don’t need to tell your children how much you care about them, because your allowing their life will tell them everything they need to know. Nothing says “I love you” to somebody like not killing them.

If every child was indeed “planned and wanted”, Planned Parenthood would be able to hold their next national meeting in a phone booth.
