George Carlin, RIP

Seems like I’ve had too many “RIP” posts lately, but here’s another for the pile.

George Carlin died of heart failure in L.A.

Carlin was an atheist, and as a result often mocked things I believe in, so all I can say is that if I was right and he was wrong and George lost Pascal’s Wager, Carlin is giving God one hilarious monologue right now on how it was all a big joke.

Here’s one of my favorite Carlin bits, and not one you see all the time, like “a place for my stuff” or “baseball and football.” This bit is on the absolute arrogance and self-importance of the “save the planet” crowd:
