It seems as if every time liberals open their mouths these days, McCain and Palin’s poll numbers increase. Here are just a couple of reasons why:
A Canadian doctor is worried that Sarah Palin keeping her baby with Down Syndrome may have an impact in reducing the number of abortions — especially women carrying babies that have been diagnosed as having developmental disorders. The horror!
The doctor isn’t alone, either. He has company here in the states — which is where the Obama supporting left’s problems start.
NARAL Pro-Choice America, Planned Parenthood and EMILY’s List combined will spend around $30 million on anti-Palin ads.
The “pro-choice” left is frustrated beyond belief because they’re being called out as the absolutely cruel and inhumane selfish ghouls that they are, and every time they attempt to prove otherwise, they do nothing but reinforce this simple truth to every person not in need of anti-psychotic meds.
The pro-abortion left (today’s redundancy brought to you by Wheaties — breakfast of champions!) describing themselves as “pro choice” and then having the audacity to criticize somebody who chose life is indeed comical. This reminds me of Henry Ford’s line: “You can have any color you want, as long as it’s black.” Ah, choice.
Besides, you’d think NARAL and Planned Parenthood would want kids with “developmental disabilities,” “mental handicaps,” etc., to be born — I mean, that’s pretty much a qualification to run one of those organizations, isn’t it? What kind of group supports killing its future leaders?
Anyway, here’s my take on Sarah Palin: She’s the “perfect storm” candidate. They don’t come along often, but once in a while we see a person who forces us to look in a mirror — and some don’t like the reflection. It’s that simple.
The left’s anger toward Sarah Palin really has little to do with Sarah Palin. She’s simply forced some people to confront who they are, what they stand for, and what their life priorities are — while at the same time exposing them for the world to see — and some obviously don’t take well to that.
Think about it — there are people who are actually pissed that this woman and her husband let their baby live. If that doesn’t make your jaw drop, then — well, you’re a Palin hater.
The bump in Palin’s personal approval numbers doesn’t have as much to do with her being “pro life” as is does with the apparent fact that there are fewer and fewer people who are willing to be associated with kooks, loons and butchers.
The bad news for Obama/Biden is that many of those who are increasingly turned-off the kind of liberal extremism that believes people should only be allowed to carry weapons if they’re used to kill human fetuses — are Democrats.
