This morning, I checked Drudge, and found out that the coveted National Health Care plan of the Democrats — the one Obama’s entire presidency is hinged upon — won’t happen. Reports are that liberals have backed off their dream of Obamacare and are waving the white flag:
Gee, that was easy — way too easy.
The next thing you know, Michael Moore will denounce Fidel Castro and meat-lovers pizza all in the same breath. Something’s fishy — and not just at the White House snoopatorium.
Sure, Democrats are saying they’ll still try to reform health care, but a “public option” is probably off the table. And if anybody believes that this Democrat-controlled Congress is going to spend the next several months debating how to encourage the free market to fix health care, I’ve got a bridge in Brooklyn to sell them.
So effective have the makeshift town hall tea parties been at exposing people to the truth about the health care bill(s) and organizing the community to contact their Congressmen that Team Obama is feigning surrender just to make it stop until Congress can get back in session and continue crafting their massive takeover of the private sector.
The tactic is straight from Sun Tzu: Hold out baits to entice the enemy. Feign disorder, and crush him.
There is no disorder in the Obama administration when it comes to health care — there’s desperation, but the disorder if feigned. They know exactly where they want to go, and they know exactly who’s preventing it. They’re hoping the false “surrender” will make everybody figure the battle has been won this year, and that they’ll gather up all their mean signs and swastikas and go home.
This crew of Dems will never give up. They’re the Gunga Dins of DC, so there will never be a surrender from them when it comes to finding ways into our lives, so we need to always assume that any white flag being waved by statist liberals is a red herring. Don’t let up!
Update: Here’s a reminder for the Associated Press that “Republican pressure” is incapable of stopping Obamacare, given that the Dems control everything, including a filibuster-proof Senate.
