Gore Heads to Virginia to Throw Weight Behind Deeds for Guv, Propel Him Through Wall

Will the green anti-carbon savior of Mother Nature and all of mankind fly in on a private jet, or is this close enough to take his fleet of “public transportation” limousines? We may never know:

Former Vice President Al Gore will be coming to Virginia on Friday to give a last-minute boost to the Democratic candidate for governor, Creigh Deeds, a party source said.

Gore will headline a private fundraiser in McLean at the home of longtime Democratic supporters Al and Claire Dwoskin.

The visit will provide positive publicity for Deeds in the days before the Nov. 3 election, when Deeds will face Bob McDonnell, the Republican nominee.

The weather in McLean, Virginia tomorrow will see a high of about 47 degrees — 23 degrees below average for this time of year. I shudder to think how cold it would be if it weren’t for global warming driving up the temperature! I’m going to leave my gas-powered leaf blower running an extra hour this afternoon so Al doesn’t freeze to death.

For those of you at the fundraising dinner, don’t ask Al any questions that don’t play into his scam, or he’ll have your mic cut off and you’ll be removed from the house:
