What Took So Long? Publishing Company Puts Warning Label on Constitution, Declaration

Fox News has a story about a small printing company called Wilder Publications that has been putting the following disclaimer on copies of the Constitution, Declaration of Independence and other historical documents:

If you can’t read the disclaimer, it says “This book is a product of its time and does not reflect the same values as it would if it were written today. Parents might wish to discuss with their children how views on race, gender, sexuality, ethnicity, and interpersonal relations have changed since this book was written before allowing them to read this classic work.”

A glance at the company’s website makes it apparent it’s a dink operation, but still, parents might also want to discuss with their children what asshats run Wilder Publishing before reading the disclaimer.

Actually, given the way things have been going, I can’t believe the disclaimer thing took so long.
