The latest on Jared Loughner from the New York Times:
He became intrigued by antigovernment conspiracy theories, including that the Sept. 11 attacks were perpetrated by the government and that the countryâ€™s central banking system was enslaving its citizens. His anger would well up at the sight of President George W. Bush, or in discussing what he considered to be the nefarious designs of government.
We might as well now add Bush to the “at fault” list for the shootings, because if Bush didn’t exist, this guy wouldn’t have been angry. Yes, that’ll be the spin.
This guy is a 9/11 truther who hated Bush, so in a just world, most people would be comparing him to Rosie O’Donnell. But nah, it makes more political sense to say he was motivated by Sarah Palin.
