Team Hillary promoted “watch parties” yesterday, many of them in Iowa.
CNN randomly chose one to attend and this is what they found:
Those who did show up only did so because they were promised there would be sandwiches and Bingo.
The cops had to be called in to break up one Clinton watch party:
The crush of fans at Hillary’s campaign launch on Roosevelt Island caused the crowd “overflow” area to look like this:
Looks like organizers were expecting more of Bill’s girlfriends to show up than actually did.
I discussed Hillary’s laughably hypocritical and shameless speech at greater length here.
Baltimore City State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby is enjoying her brush with celebrity after charging six Baltimore police officers in the death of Freddie Gray, but she’s being very selective about which information her office wants made public.
This is just one of the many elements of the case Mosby isn’t exactly bragging about:
About three weeks before Freddie Gray was chased from a West Baltimore corner by three Baltimore police officers — the start of a fatal encounter — the office of prosecutor Marilyn Mosby asked police to target the intersection with “enhanced” drug enforcement efforts, court documents show.
“State’s Attorney Mosby asked me to look into community concerns regarding drug dealing in the area of North Ave and Mount St,” Joshua Rosenblatt, division chief of Mosby’s Crime Strategies Unit, wrote in a March 17 email to a Western District police commander.
The email was disclosed for the first time Tuesday in a motion filed in Baltimore Circuit Court by defense attorneys for the six officers being prosecuted in Gray’s arrest and death. The attorneys said Mosby’s involvement in the police initiative means that she should be removed from the case.
What’s your rebuttal, Ms. Mosby? … Ms. Mosby?

Author Joyce Carol Oates is one of America’s many “know better than you” progressives, and today she took an animal rights stand against something you might not have heard about:
So barbaric that this should still be allowed… No conservation laws in effect wherever this is? https://t.co/hgavm9IBaM

Here’s the animal rights abuse Oates was referencing:

Read all about it in Oates’ next book, “Who Speaks for the Triceratops?”
Hopefully Oates will also shine a light on the horrendous sanitary conditions at this place called Jurassic Park — wherever that is:
A Washington Post/ABC News poll found that a majority of those questioned do not want the Supreme Court to block subsidies to states that didn’t set up their own Obamacare exchanges (the case is King v. Burwell).
Check out how the question was framed:
This proposal will be an easy sell with the White House:
France’s foreign minister says the global climate agreement being negotiated this year must be worded in a way so that it doesn’t require approval by U.S. Congress.
Laurent Fabius told a group of African delegates at U.N. climate talks in Bonn on Monday that “we know the politics in the U.S., whether we like it or not, if it comes to the Congress, they will refuse.”
That would exclude an international treaty with legally-binding limits on greenhouse gas emissions — something some countries still insist on but which would have virtually no chance of being ratified by the Republican-controlled Congress.
Fabius will host the climate summit in Paris at the end of the year where the new agreement is supposed to be adopted.
Obama’s reply: “You had me at ‘go around Congress.'”
But hey, climate change is a global and national security threat, because Obama said so:
A couple days ago The Hill provided a hint as to what the “blame the GOP for a law NONE of them voted to pass” movement will look like heading into next year’s election.

This criticism, while stupid and pitiful, isn’t entirely unjustified. Instead of telling Democrats to go f*#k themselves nuts deep when it comes to helping repair anything connected to Obamacare, some in the GOP have insisted on putting Republican fingerprints on the law, which is beyond stupid — regardless of the upcoming SCOTUS decision on King v. Burwell.
The Dems passed a shitty law, so let them bear the entire burden of the consequences of the illegalities courts agree it contains. By insisting on helping to “fix” Obamacare the Republicans are torching their best arguments/examples for full repeal.
Hillary Clinton will re-launch her campaign on Roosevelt Island in Manhattan (used to be known as “Welfare Island,” I kid you not) later this month, and she’s already demonstrating that you can’t make a “for the children” omelette without breaking a few hearts:
Hillary Clinton’s campaign didn’t pick the best time to stage a major campaign rally at Four Freedoms Park on Roosevelt Island later this month.
According to the park’s website, a specially planned event for tots called Imagination Playground — which features unique blue building blocks — has been canceled to accommodate the Democratic frontrunner for president.
Also at risk of major inconvenience: an annual celebration called Roosevelt Island Day, which features a blood drive, hot dog stands and free rides for kids.
It’s for your own good, kids, so just shut up and keep hammering the server.
The children can have the park back that day if they can figure out how to raise $100,000 for the Clinton Foundation by the end of the week.
Update:
Now Hillary’s actually “joking” about how secure her homebrew server was compared to the White House. Those who consider it a privileged to be mocked by a Clinton will still gladly vote for her.
